One Night Stand With The Unforgettable Stranger

One Night Stand With The Unforgettable Stranger

“Can’t have a notebook without a pen.” “Will you read a chapter to me?” Caitlyn asked. “Before you go to see the others?” “Of course,” Chloe said, reaching for the book. “Now lie back and get comfortable.” Chloe cleared her throat dramatically and then opened the cover of the book. “Harriet the Spy. Chapter one. ‘Harriet was trying to explain to Sport how to play Town.’”

A plate with food was in front of him, and he picked up a piece of cheese as he flipped over the page. Ayla stretched and sat on the bed, her back leaning against the headboard. “What are you reading?” she asked. Rhobart chuckled before lifting the book, the cover facing her—it had no title. For a moment, she thought it was the forgotten book, but the way he smiled… Her heart started hammering in her chest. “Earlier, I was looking for a healing plant in your messenger bag for your arm when I found two books in there. Such a naughty little n’alxa you are,” he laughed.

The Cherished Wife

The Cherished Wife

Ever since he came home and started at Colossus Group, he had not spent many nights at the Hoffmans', so he had not realized they had kept the room's old charm. Noelle let go of Charles's hand and dashed to the bookshelf, taking a quick look. "Whoa, you've got the whole Game of Thrones series here! Were you into it? ‘The Tales of Robin Hood', ' Anglo-Saxon Chronicle', some random essays, 'A Brief History of Time'... Charles, you've got a ton of books!" Charles gave the shelf a quick glance and narrowed his eyes a bit. "It’s just for show," he said nonchalantly.

The School's Cool Girl

The School's Cool Girl

This will do. I placed my unneeded books and arranged them by size. And that's when I noticed something weird. The girls started to squeal and chatter. The hallway became louder. I looked to the side to see what the commotion was about. Is it me again? Honestly, I can’t wait until I graduate so I can say sayonara Cool Girl! When I finally saw what the commotion was about. The students parted ways like in some kind of movie and the famous student council students made their way at the center in slow motion. Kind of like what the popular kids would do in the movies.

Chloe shut the book with a sharp snap, her mouth slightly open and her pulse racing. For a second, she just sat there on the couch, fanning herself with the edge of the page. “Oh my God, that was so hot. Like… are you kidding me? Cecilia, girl, what did I just read?”

Love the story. I was so gutted for Adrian and Amber. Not sure why, but their story really got to me and made me sad. I wish both could have had their own happy ending or figured it out. But I’m happy that Adrian moved on with Sinclair and they are happy. Looking forward to the ending.

Book 3 is about Isaiah and Kaia. It was such a wonderful, funny and exciting book. This ok made me laugh. Kaia is a strong woman and perfect for Isaiah. Sinclair and Adrian are starting to form in this book. It’s difficult but I don’t want to say too much. You really have to read this book. Love it

Frequently Asked Questions

Finding engaging chapter books for reluctant readers can feel like hunting for hidden treasure, but once you know where to look, it’s a breeze. Graphic novel adaptations of classic stories are my go-to—they blend visuals with text, easing kids into longer narratives. 'The Baby-Sitters Club Graphix' series or 'Amulet' by Kazu Kibuishi are perfect examples. Libraries often have dedicated 'high-interest, low difficulty' sections, and librarians are gold mines for personalized recommendations. I’ve also stumbled upon gems in used bookstores, where quirky titles like 'Sideways Stories from Wayside School' catch the eye with their weird humor.

Another angle? Audiobooks paired with physical copies. Listening while reading can boost confidence. Platforms like Audible or Libby offer tons of kid-friendly options. For tech-savvy readers, interactive apps like Epic! curate books with fun animations. And don’t overlook niche publishers—like Barrington Stoke, which specializes in dyslexia-friendly fonts and gripping plots. The key is mixing mediums to make reading feel less like a chore and more like an adventure.
