The little girls inquisitive nature had made her stop to investigate a noise she had heard, it was a deer caught in a fence, she had approached it fearlessly and carefully freed its entangled antlers. It should have been dangerous, the deer was much bigger than the little girl and one sweep of those powerful antlers would have ended her life but it had stilled the moment she spoke to it.
