Coral was already making my skin itch, the telltale sign she’s ready and not taking no for an answer. “Sure I just need a robe,” I said, turning toward her. I blinked and we were in a bedroom, hers? It was yellow like her cute dress, and there was an insane amount of artwork on the walls. Bright and colorful, and I actually recognized one as Salvador Dali. Kind of hard to forget naked women posing to form a skull but it was intriguing no less. “Here you go. You can change in there,” she offered, handing me a pretty lavender colored robe with white flowers.

“A necklace? What about it?” I pulled my own pendant from beneath my shirt, letting it dangle beside the illustration. “It’s mine. The exact same one.” Cora’s eyes widened as she looked between the book and my necklace, her mouth forming a perfect ‘O’ of surprise. “Holy shit,” she whispered, leaning in for a closer look. “That’s…that can’t be a coincidence.” “The description page is missing,” I said, showing her the torn edge. “Someone ripped it out.”

Heloise didn't take off her gloves and immediately picked up a brush. "I apologize, but I'd like to use the restroom before starting," Coral said with a smile. I think I'm capable of carrying a box containing books and a jewelry box." She stretched her hands to collect the box but I moved away not giving her the chance to take it away from me.
