The Lycan King’s Caged Princess

The Lycan King’s Caged Princess

"What do you mean, something beyond what meets the eye? Please, enlighten me." His eyes locked with mine, and a flicker of ancient wisdom seemed to dance within their depths. "You see, my dear, this land is steeped in ancient legends and myths. Stories that have been passed down through generations. One such tale is that of the vampires." As he spoke, his voice carried a tone of caution, as if he feared awakening some dormant darkness. The receptionist continued, his voice growing softer, yet filled with an air of intensity. "According to ancient Greek folklore, vampires were creatures of the night, cursed to wander the earth in search of blood to quench their insatiable thirst. They were be

Arranged Bride For The Lycan King

Arranged Bride For The Lycan King

Most of the articles were about vampires and demons but mostly vampires and it was all just do annoying because I'm very sure they weren't the only ones scared of sunlight. I kept refreshing page after page and trying to find out what the hell else could run away from sunlight but everything just seemed wrong. Until I found one little article on the last page of results. “The Legend of the Cursed Fatals: An Account of The goddess' First Mistake.” That seemed like what I was looking for so I clicked on it and began reading. I didn't really know about them but I knew that Elinna was every familiar. When I sear hed on the list of things that they fear and how to dispel them, everything made sen

Knotting the Hunter

Mark the calendar. "The cucumber!" "What about it?" "It's definitely a kappa." He says it like a man laying down a winning hand. "Japanese river spirit. Child-sized, green, webbed hands, drags swimmers under. The bowl on its head isn't a bowl, it's a dent in the skull, and it holds water. That water is the whole game. Spill it and the thing's helpless. And they..." He stops. Presses his mouth shut. His shoulders are doing something suspicious.

This book is so good! The 3 books I’ve read so far from this author are on my top 5 favorite on this app and this one is about to be #4! Love the writing style and love the humor in the story. I’m rooting for Dax and Noah!

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

Legend Of The Third Spirit

Legend Of The Third Spirit

But Purple Smoke stopped her by freezing her neck forward. Purple Smoke then pulled her hands higher above the jar along with a thick black smoke coming out from the black crystal. She was in some kind of unexplainable pain by the way her arms and the rest of her body trembled while sweating profusely. Then she pushed the black smoke towards Méah. The screams on it were even more louder and deafening, the screams of the damned souls. Their figures that took form as black smokes were as terrifying as their name. They don't have nose or hair but their whole face was only composed with two red eyes and an exceptionally wide mouth.

Bloodbound: Heart Of The Witch

This shadow, this darkness with fangs, it had the power to stipulate how they dreamed and that made him crazy with need to blow the creature’s head off. “This is a local legend about nightmares, a satanic sorcerer, and black magic. It is titled as Shadows and Blood, and is 50 years old. Folklore, through songs and words and this guy had recorded it down, a little and a lot of his own story.” She looked at the book, biting her lips, forehead crinkling in concentration. “Sound gory and ancient and I have never heard of this.” Art said as he struggled to open his tired eyes. It burned from the lack of sleep. Aurora looked tired as well, but she was dogged to finish the book, to find anything mo

To Be A Vampire’s Mate

To Be A Vampire’s Mate

"I wouldn't mind keeping him around if we can't find out where he belongs. He'd make a great pet for you. He'd teach you some responsibility before you can become a maker which will be good for you." "Yeah," I nodded in agreement. "I'd love to keep him but I think he really wants to return to someone called Inari." He frowned then. "The rice god in Japan?" He asked me, looking skeptical. "You know him?" I asked. "I know the legends. He's a rice god in Japan, usually shown with white foxes called kitsunes," he informed me calmly. "There are other kitsunes, but they're more mischievous than his foxes." "Well I think he belongs there then, in a garden...." I frowned. Looks like I'll lose him qu

Seven Magics Academy

Seven Magics Academy

On the facing page was a full-color picture of a young man. He looked to be of Asian descent, with deep olive skin, black eyes, and long black hair. He posed regally in a navy-blue robe decorated with intricate designs. He seemed familiar. Something about the eyes. Under the picture was a caption: Kenmei Yamata. "Kenmei," I murmured, and started to read aloud: "Before the time of man, vampires ruled the earth. They lived in harmony with all creatures, great and small: the trolls, and the goblins, the pixies, and the pixilettes. The dragons of the air and of the sea.

For no reason. “What the fuck?” I asked, through the mind link. “Holy shit. The legend is true.” Jude said. “What legend?” I asked. “That legend isn’t true.” One of my warriors said. “How else do you explain this?” Jude asked. “I don’t know. But it can’t be true. I mean, that was just a story we liked to tell wolf pups so they wouldn’t be so scared of vampires.” The warrior said. “Hey, tell me what fucking legend you are talking about. I’ve never heard about it.” I demanded.

Reaper's Hollow

Reaper's Hollow

“Yes. The Japanese government no longer publishes the numbers of how many bodies they find there annually, but at one point it was as high as one hundred.” “Wow.” Ivy looked astonished. “That’s a lot of people to take their own lives in one year in the same location.” “Right. Which adds to the lore.” Cutter shook his head, and Ru imagined it was in sympathy for the souls that lost their lives in the forest. “This may sound like a stupid question,” Ru said, still pondering whether or not to ask it, “but are these yurei real, or is what the forest visitors have been experiencing something else—like Reapers? Or demons?”

Seducing The Bloodmoon Princess

He’s deathly afraid of foxes, or more specifically, the old legends of the kitsune: an odd thing to fear, but whatever. “Why is he already screaming?” Logan asked as Miyazaki started to cower and scream without me even touching him. “He’s currently living his greatest nightmare. I hope you don’t mind, but I did use Suzu’s image for the nightmare. He’s cowering from her. In his mind, he’s seeing her morph from a human woman to ta malevolent kitsune.” I explained, focusing on making the nightmare more intense.
