We decided to step into one of the shops, a bell tinkling as we entered. The interior was cramped and dusty, filled to the brim with all manner of strange objects. Dolls with eerily lifelike eyes stared at us from shelves, while jars of wet specimens lined the walls. “Creepy,” I muttered, picking up a small figurine that seemed to be made of bones. Chris nodded, examining a collection of ‘cursed’ amulets. “Yeah, but kind of fascinating too, don’t you think?”

*** Levi’s POV “This place gives me the creeps,” I tell Stan, “Do you come here often?” The store where Stan’s contact works is filled with what I assume are ingredients for dark curses. The bottles on the walls are labeled with the strangest of things. Pig’s blood, bat wings, eyes of assorted creatures. Grave dust. A skeleton of something that looks like a manticore, if such things really existed. Then I realize that if that thing is real, I don’t want to know.

Symbols I didn’t recognise twisted along its edges, pulsing faintly as if alive. The air was heavy, charged, humming with something ancient and unnatural. A sickly-sweet scent clung to the back of my throat, blood and something worse, something rotting. Kree’s voice rose in a guttural chant, the words curling in the air like smoke, thick and suffocating. It was so demonic. Kree and Brandon were obviously dabbling in some form of dark magic. It’s a good thing that we came prepared. “This place is creepy.” Kai drug out the word creepy. I have to agree with him. Neither of us got any rest last night. We kept hearing strange sounds. Moaning and screams from things we have never experienced before. We saw a faceless spirit looking thing last night. I believe they are called a Hupia, although I can’t be certain that’s what it really was. It didn’t bother us, but this place seems to be filled with them. Something else that we have come across is a Morko. It is an elemental Ooze type creature. They are freaky as hell but the only way they could hurt you is to love you to death. We have also crossed paths with a few dangerous creatures,

"Saye, what is that you want me to see-" I say as I enter but pause with wide eyes and back hitting against the wall, shocked. "What the hell is that?" One of the boys, the youngest, has some one-eye creature. It's like a dark gooey substance paste, and someone just glued those plastic eyes for arts and crafts. Its round yellow eyes look around frantically. I feel a chill running down my spine, seeing how disgusting it is. "In the Demon Realm, these are called Carcurus; they are low-level creatures that find a victim and stick themself on a host sucking the life force out of them."
