There was no reason to laugh when everything in my life made me cry either in pain, sadness, self loathing, or regret. I didn’t know laughing could make the stomach hurt so much, or make the eyes water. I found that last part the weirdest. Even laughing; such a positive and happy thing, can end up making you cry! Why is it that tears are always involved in both happiness and sadness? I found that really unreasonable and unfair. There should be no crying in happiness.
