Hello again, guys! Like I said in my author's note, this book is a prequel to Wrenched. Elen nodded, his gaze fixed on Cain, who had drawn blood on his palms using a small knife. Cain passed the knife to Elen, communicating that it was her turn to do the same. Elen hesitated but then traced her fingers with the blade, feeling a strange pull as Cain clasped her hand. A dark light shimmered from their joined palms, and Elen experienced a prickling, scalding sensation on her wrist, as if a mark was being seared onto it. A small cross appeared, a symbol of a mysterious connection that had been forged between them.

Wendy took his hand and placed it on her own, she sliced it again and formed an cross sign on his hand then she wrote on the top side of t the cross, she wrote N which signified the north, on the down side she wrote S which signified the south and on the sides she wrote W and E which signified the West and East side, then she dropped the knife. His chest brushes my back, and the heat of him is a sudden, shocking contrast to the chill of the room. “You will use the safewords. It does not mean we will not try again if it is too much today. The leather is thick, lined with stiff fleece. Kir pulls the heavy strap through the iron buckle. The sound of the metal pin sliding through the punched leather hole is incredibly loud in my ears as he pulls it tight.

James asked as he looked at the wrapped package. “Open it and find out.” He smiled as James started ripping the paper off and unfolded the leather vest. “What does it say?” “That’s a phoenix rising from the ashes, same as my jacket. But below it, it says, ‘Blood of Wrath’. That means every biker that sees it will know you’re my son,” he said. James looked up at him, his eyes glistening. “Really?” “Whenever we go to events like today, you can wear it and people will know exactly who you are.” He could feel that tug of emotions in his chest and when he looked up, Jenna was smiling brightly, he could feel that in his soul too.
