Her laughter, though punctuated by coughs, was a testament to her spirit, a defiance against the pain and suffering that sought to confine her. Despite the sorrow that enveloped the room, I couldn't resist joining in the duet of laughter and tears. It was a bittersweet symphony, a melody of emotions that intertwined in the most poignant of ways. Smile and act as if nothing happened? Few moments later, the door was pulled open and Chris looked up to Nathan who was standing behind the door with a grim look. He gave his best friend a small smile and before he could open his mouth and utter a word out, the door was immediately slammed shut. Chris stood there stupefied, “There goes my smile.” He immediately rang the bell again and knocked onto the front door, “Nate! Wait! Open up!” “Leave, Chris.” he heard a muffled voice through the door, “there’s nothing for you here.”

The four members looked happy together with those genuine smiles plastered on their faces. I touch on the surface right to the kid who I think is Airo. He can smile. I remove my hand and look at the next picture. The two look grown a bit but their mother is not there anymore. I couldn’t see the same smile they had from the first photo. They are indeed smiling here, but not that bright. The next pictures are two young men who lost their smiles growing up together. “Ciana, I brought you your drink.” I move my head to his direction and suddenly feel a little pain in me. This man is hiding a lot of things in him. All by himself.

Hopefully, I will find my happiness in another way. I can't cry, and I have to keep smiling. I will show all these people the correct path I choose, and they will all be satisfied even though I was devastated. Gosh, I can't be selfish. Yes, don't be selfish. I can only smile bitterly at this fact. In fact, it's more bitter than just bitter melon juice. Or the bitterest medicine you have ever taken.

I said, and when I looked at my friend, she was the one crying for me. "Hey, don't cry," I said. "I will not cry if you will release all your pain, Meg, but my heart aches knowing you were hurting, and you were trying to hide your anguish by faking your smile. Please, you need to cry, Meg." She said. "Alice, I am fine. We need to go, and you better stop yourself from crying. I am not faking my smile, and I realized there are still reasons to smile, like having you right now when I felt so down and lonely." I said.

Brie shed tears even when she smiled. "We hope we meet again!" Ivana could smile now. "That, I promise!" Finny neighed aloud.
