Stammering Hearts

Stammering Hearts

He knows that what he feels for Kalyx is more than just a simple crush; more than just a simple like. That's why his tears just kept on flowing. That's why he can't breathe properly. That's why he's mad and scared at the same time. And it's all because of Kalyx's departure. He kissed Kalyx's picture and placed it over his heart. "I love you, Kalyx. Be careful where you're going. Take care of yourself. Even though you don't know it, you're always in my prayers." After saying that, he closed his eyes.

Distant Hearts

Distant Hearts

I won’t cry There’s no need to cry My repeated words don’t help because I burst into tears almost immediately. My face feels hot, the room feels stuffy and my body feels hot and empty except for all the sadness stuffed in me. I sob so much that I can’t feel my eyes anymore. My head hurts. My eyes too and all of a sudden, I feel nauseous. Running into a cubicle in my dress is more difficult than I anticipated but thankfully, I make it to the toilet right in time to spill my guts out.

Beyond Night

Beyond Night

After a few moments of speaking and clicking her tongue to her teeth, Weaver dropped her palms to the hearts, clutched them up tight in her grip and pushed them over close, nearly bumping them together. “Arise, tribes of Pictdom,” she hissed, not seeming to care if any heard her, but her voice echoed out of the woods so loud quite a few standing took a step back. They all looked about, unable to understand how her voice came out so thunderous and rolled across the dell. “We will march on this morning, thousands of hearts, but one beat.” She then dashed the hearts together, causing her apprentice to jump and Tancorix to step backwards out of the grove. Her hands ground the hearts collectively

The Rejected Luna’s Hidden Legacy

The Rejected Luna’s Hidden Legacy

I stopped beneath the largest tree and pressed both hands over my stomach, the bark cool against my back, dawn light barely starting to touch the highest branches. “I’m all you have now,” I whispered. Four small pulses answered beneath my palms, unmistakable, real, each one distinct from the others like four separate hearts learning to beat at once. I sank onto the grass and finally broke … not from grief, though grief was tangled somewhere in it, twisted up with fear and fury and something achingly tender all at once. I cried because I had just discovered I already loved them completely, four heartbeats I’d known about for less than an hour, already more mine than anything else in this enti

I think this one was the best I’ve read in the series. I also saw the writer’s development improvements. I’m sad I finished it already but excited for the next ones to come :) good job author thanks for the amazing read and the laughs and tears this book brought ...🩷

I can’t choose a favorite anymore. It’s just too good. This was the book I enjoyed most, 1) because I relate a lot to the FL (character wise) and 2) because it seemed like both leads were communicating a lot better than in the other books, which leads to less frustrating misunderstandings.

BLACK TIGER

BLACK TIGER

I killed them. I feel my chest tighten and the tears start falling again. When I cry there is a rawness to it, my pain is still an open wound. I place my hand on my heart and let all the wave of my emotions come out with the form of salty drops. As much as I try to hold it in, the pain comes out like an uproar from my throat in the form of a silent scream. I hit the iron bar and try to scream, but it seems like my voice melts along with my heart.

REBORN AS A SUPERSTAR

REBORN AS A SUPERSTAR

Like delicate raindrops clinging to the precipice, her tears teeter on the edge, threatening to spill over and carve a path down her cheeks. Within those sorrowful eyes, one can witness the struggle of a wounded soul. They are the windows to a heart burdened by the weight of grief, loss, or loneliness. The irises, once bright and vibrant, now seem dim, as if a shadow has enveloped their natural radiance. The sparkle that once danced within them has been replaced by a haunting emptiness.

Be careful what you wish for

Be careful what you wish for

I am not really sure. My heart feels a sudden pain, almost as if it is tearing at its seams. My right hand grabs a hold of my dress fabric which is closest to my heart, and I pull at it. It does not lessen the pain, but helps to put my emotions into actions. A ball of stone sits in my throat; I feel it as it blocks the passage to which my voice needs to escape. I try my hardest to scream, shout or even cry aloud but it prevents me too. I feel myself bottling up the excoriating pain. The tears stop falling but my tender heart still throbs with agony, grief and sorrow.

HEALING HEARTS

HEALING HEARTS

Richard responded coldly. "How could you do this to me? I trusted and loved you with all my heart." Sheila said as the tears which had been holding fell freely. Richard stood firm on seeing Sheila's emotions had ran high. "Please use the door or don't blame me for being rude, because I hate seeing tears" he said, unfazed. Sheila's voice was barely above a whisper as she pleaded with him. "I know you have a reason for this. Please stop this game and don't go through with this divorce of a thing, will you do that?."

Lost And Found Hearts

Lost And Found Hearts

But deep down, I have always known there was something missing, something I couldn't ignore no matter how hard I tried burying it. My hands shake, folding the letter in half, then quarters, before I toss it onto the bed. Now the tears won't stop. It hurts-God, it hurts so much-but I know I made the right decision. Even though I've broken his heart, even though I've shattered our future, this is what needed to happen. I couldn't marry him. Not like this.
