The man somehow returned her smile, then joined in blowing the drink in his mug and then tasted it. “Delicious.” Alex's voice turned hoarse. “I think I'm going to sleep well tonight too.” Suddenly Athena remembered something, she turned and opened the top drawer of the kitchen and found the biscuit she was looking for, an oreo with vanilla sugar on it. Meanwhile Alex stared at her, both confused and interested. “What are you doing?” “I want to mix this Oreo with milk.” Alex's eyes stared at her in horror. “What? It will turn out to be thick, disgusting biscuit porridge,” he muttered, securing the warm milk as if afraid that Athena might pour the Oreos into his drink as well.

How could he betray his mate? The aura around Serena blazed a deep red as she said the words, “I, The Witch of Artemia curse you; the moment you consummate your relationship with your mate; she will die.” Then Serena stormed out of the tent waving her wand behind her. Alaric stood there, frozen like a statue. She had shattered his life and filled it with misery and despair with just one flick of her wand.

I and my cousins always fought over getting the largest portion, after it was being shared to us by grandma Felicia. So I clearly didn't know his late fiancee loved them as well. It was such a fucking coincidence. Shit. Me getting the Oreos, brought back memories of his late fiancee. Something that made him feel sad, guilty and made him hate him self. "I'm sorry." I heard myself apologise.

The memory of the battlefield flashes in my mind as I quickly clutch my chest, glancing down only to see my chest has completely healed. “You can thank Oshmin for that,” Zarseti says, gesturing to Oshmin. I look over at Oshmin to see he is also bathed in radiant light…but it’s deformed. This gorgeous blue is wrapped up in tendrils of black and somehow, I know I’m looking at his curse. “Guess we won’t be needing the Orraikam anymore,” Oshmin says, looking off where a large pile of glittering dust lays in a pile on the ground.
