After spending a few minutes trying to figure out a decent name and failing, Kirou took another look at the system prompts before a name jumped out in his mind.

"Ah Terror my darling, I knew you would come rescue me. However why are you with those mutts?" One scrawny looking witch with pointy ears and a raspy voicewhisper yelled. We figured Terror must be the name she gave the polar bear. "I am not Terror Marge and I am certainly not your darling. My name is Teddy and I am here to pay you back for all you did me. Oh I will multiply everything by ten !" The bear said it with such vehemence that even I feared for Marge. She lifted her wand and muttered some gibberish but nothing happened.

"All's forgiven." She smiles at him, and the thump of his heart again slams against his chest, the uncomfortableness easing slightly with each second that passes. "They're a family," she says firmly as she strokes the top of the first bear. "This is Deborah Bear. This is Damon Bear." Damon's head pops up from where he is working on a puzzle on the ground, and his small nose scrunches. "I wanna be a crocodile!" Apparently, he's deciding to play along now.

"My fiancé loves my unconventional nature, don't you, sweetie-pie?" Ren looked down at her, one eyebrow raised in amusement. "Sweetie-pie?" "Snuggle-muffin? Cookie-wookums?" Help me out here, I'm new to nauseating pet names. Instead of pulling away as she'd hoped, Ren wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer. "Honeybear seems fitting," he replied smoothly. "Sweet but with hidden claws." Dominique's eye twitched slightly. "Well, the Harringtons were just saying that they found your comments about their family name rather... pointed."

"This is her brother, Bear. You remember hearing about him?" Her little eyes widen when he also bends down. He was about to speak to her. She looked like she was about to burst into tears, with her eyes welling up. Bear, looking like he was about to panic at a crying child he reacted, "What's wrong, sweetheart?" His voice was smooth and he would make a fortune doing audiobooks. She looked up at Jack and then back at Bear before whispering. "He is going to be mad about my nickname." Jack closed his eyes and cursed under his breath before looking at Winnie. "Bear is going to love having you be, little bear. Uncle Jack was just being stupid when he said that."

Glancing at Sam, I noticed the ghost smile that played on his lips as he stared at me. “Did you just give a guy 200 for like a $20 bear?” “You wanted it.” He shrugs and I raise an eyebrow. “That’s a lot of money.” “No, it isn’t.” “For a stuffed bear.” I give him a dead look and he smirks, shrugging once again. “I should name it.” “Name it?” He tilts his head. “Yeah. Maybe something like . . . Albert; Albert the bear.” I hugged Albert closer to him, while Sam just looked at me as if I had lost my mind.

As I land on all fours I stretch out and shake my fur to get the rest of the skin and blood off. My bear's name is Yona. It's Cherokee for bear. Our mate stood there smiling like a lunatic. "Holy crap. This is amazing. You are so furry." She walked up and started running her hands through our dark brown fur. She didn’t even mind getting a bit of blood on her hands. It was mostly off but there was always a bit left. Humans were usually terrified of Yona. He has a huge scar on his right eyelid. Another scar on his side and a huge scar down the left side of his ribs. All from war. All from trying to defend his people and the people who stood up for him.

But as I hold the small bundle of fur, I can’t help but soften. I lift the collar and check the tag. Little Bear. He named it Little Bear? I let out a short, surprised laugh despite myself. “So, Little Bear, any chance you can talk and tell me who my stalker is?” I murmur, cradling the puppy as it wriggles in my arms.

I smile at her trials, I set the cookies and milk on her bedside and sit next to her on the bed. "What's his name?" I ask pointing to the bear that she's practically sitting on right now, I need her to know that I'll never make fun of her. Her face turns red and she shakes her, not willing to share. I lift her up and get the teddy from underneath her. "Come on a pretty teddy like this one deserves a name," I say encouraging her. "Mr. Sparkle" she mumbles her face ten shade redder. "What a great name" I reply with a big smile, she steals few glances up my face making sure I'm not fooling her. My smile gets wider and she actually smiles back for once, wanting to end her misery I just get strai
