I sat straight on my bed and my eyes went wide in amazement when I found my room turned into a flower shop. It was filled with different colors of yellow flowers like Merigold, Rosa, Lilium, Callalily, Tulipa, Dianthus Caryophyllus, Daisy, Daffodil, Hibiscus, Zimias, Begonia, Sunflower, Ranunculus, Jessamine, Hyacinth, Daylilies and Coreopsis. I was amazed to see the flowers in my room. I shuffled off the bed and walked near them and I found a card on a flower bouquet. After opening it, I found some words written on it.

A dozen bright orange Gerbera Daisies sat in the front hall. “Oh! I love Gerbera Daisies,” Kelly exclaimed. “They always make me smile.” She opened the card and laughed at the message: This is what your smile does for me. It feels like sunshine and happiness and coming home after a long time away. The next day she came home to a stunning orchid with the most unique white and purple blooms on tall stems. It wasn’t like any orchid she had seen before and the card read: A bloom that is rare and stunning with taunting curves that demand to be explored, like you.

I am met by a wall of white. Flowers. Hundreds of them. They fill the hallway. They are stacked in vases, in baskets, in bundles wrapped in heavy cream paper. Lilies. Casablanca lilies. Their petals are thick, waxy, and blindingly white. Their stamens are heavy with orange pollen. And the smell. It hits me like a physical blow. Sweet. Cloying. Heavy. It smells like a funeral parlor. It smells like death masked in perfume.

“I’ll admit, you’re the first woman I’ve ever given flowers to. I wasn’t sure if you’d like them.” “Really?” May ran her fingers over the soft petals. “Well, you chose perfectly, Papa Bear. I love them.” “I remembered you like pink and lily-of-the-valley. The rest, I chose because they reminded me of you—roses for their fragrance, peonies for their wild beauty, tulips for their elegance, and dahlias because their petals remind me of snowflakes.” May laughed, leaning forward to kiss him again. “You really are a sweet talker, Papa Bear,” she said with a giggle. “I should put these in water before they wilt.”

It was kind of pretty. “Hm.” I took the flower back and held it up so that the light shined through the petals. From here, I could see the little veins running along the inside of the petals, the way that it wasn’t just yellow; it was white, and pale pink, and sky blue all at once. It was… beautiful. I felt a slight blush creep into my cheeks as I realized that Elsie was right; but still, I wasn’t so sure about daffodils for my wedding bouquet. After all—

She walked to a store to get water. "Ma'am, give me a bottle of water. Here's your money." Ariande handed the money over to the lady. The storekeeper went in to get the bottled water. "Thanks." Ariande appreciated and left the store. Ariande saw a mansion. The mansion was fabulous. Its exterior design was splendid. Soon, her eyes darted towards a bill board.
