Dahlia In Bloom Characters Novels & Stories

After they had become mother and daughter-in-law for so many years, she could not say she knew Dahlia completely, but at least fifty percent. Dahlia was an extremely egoistic, selfish, and snobbish person. She would try every trick in the book to get close to people who had a better family background and were beneficial to her. However, she would not bother to be polite to those who were not advantageous to her, like Stella and the Jewell family, let alone beg.

He told us she’s off limits, but who could blame me? Dahlia is a strong, beautiful, intelligent girl who knew what she wanted. That is why when she decided to go to college and live in the city, no one could stop her from doing so, and her parents believed in her just as much as Atlas, who talked nonstop about how proud he was of his little sister going off to college.

"But Dahlia, she's just so adorable." Dahlia laughed at her remark and I rolled my eyes. "You got a pretty good house here." And that was the truth. Her house is just so nice. It matched her bubbly personality. Her white couch blended well with the black table and everything else was red in colour. And may I add, very clean. "I'm your aunt Maria." Maria happily introduced herself. "And I'm Dahlia. It's nice meeting you, aunt Maria." Dahlia said in return, giving her new friend a sweet hug.

she says, puffing out her chest in pride. I consider it for a moment, I had known Paloma since I was a child, and Dahlia grew up with me. She was always a kind person, and when she asked me to move off territory into the Fae lands, I was sad to see her go. I had only met her mate a handful of times, but I was a good judge of character and got no sense of ill-will from him. If they could have this done so quickly, then the benefit would outweigh this small risk.

Initially, Dahlia's threat to reject me and return to her family shocked me, leaving me momentarily speechless. Was she earnest? It was a tense moment for me, but I resolved to remain cold and maintain the impersonal dynamic. When I pushed her for a response, her eyes revealed a stern, direct, and defiant gaze, as if she didn't care and wanted to reject me outright. It was a tremendous relief when she couldn't utter the words. Triumph and joy surged within me. However, as I stepped out of the room, a sharp pain gripped my heart as I realised that Dahlia had considered rejecting me as her mate. I stood at the door, gazing at the ground, overcome by a strange sadness.

Maybe then I will have a fair fight while we try to get out of here. Dahlia turns to me and starts to walk out. She looks like she was bawling her eyes out just now. She starts to walk out the door and turns to me, “You really did have a good life, without me.” I only nod as she walks out the door. She must have started seeing my life and the things she missed out on. As soon as the door closed, I smiled at my siblings and mouthed, “It’s still working!” Taylor acted like she was clapping her hands, Max was nodding and smiling, and Blaise was smiling while pumping his fist in victory, Linden just sat back with a satisfied smirk and nodded.

Dahlia slowly pushes herself up into a sitting position behind me. “You saw what happened,” she says quietly. I spin around instantly.“No!” My voice comes out louder than I expected.“You’re trying to make me crazy!” My heart is racing wildly.“There’s no way that was me!” Dahlia watches me calmly even though she still looks weak. “You felt it,” she says. “I don’t care what I felt!” I snap back.“I’m human!” The words leave my mouth firmly.“I’ve always been human.” Dahlia wipes the blood from her mouth slowly.

When it comes down to thinking about Love, people get confused. I am taking the dance shoes you bought once from me. I am taking a few more things with me which will remain with me forever. In return I have nothing to give you except some painful memories from my end. But I grew a small bunch of Daffodils down there at the side of the lawn these days. Take care of them as they were my favourite. You know Daffodil means rebirth or hope. They struggle through the winter to come in Spring in order to decorate our nature with its colour of happiness.

And then Dahlia walked in. The room seemed to freeze, and I saw Alice's back stiffen. Dahlia stood there like a deer caught in headlights, small and scared, yet there was something in the way she held herself that caught my eye. A flicker of defiance. Was there more to this little mouse than I thought? “What are you doing here?” I barked, almost at the same time Alice demanded, “Who are you?” Dahlia hesitated, her hands wringing together, her lips parted, but no sound came out. Her cheek is red and swollen from the slap. For a moment, I almost felt a stab of sympathy, but I shoved it down. She deserves nothing.

“Dahlia is fast. A runner to the core. She avoids conflict as much as possible, but she will fight if needed to. She has a quick mind as well. She’ll be a great scout once she finishes training.” “A scout, really? High honors for someone like her,” Oliver had chuckled. “And she’s a beta blood’s mate. I’m sure she’ll be happier-” Gunnar growled, and James had let him. Very little of what Oliver had just said sat well with him.
