I moved my body away from Catrina, and she looked up with tears streaming down her face. “Catrina, do you understand?” Dane asked, demanding an answer. She nodded slowly and said, “Yes,” as she struggled to speak through her tears. Curtis tried to keep subtle and only applied the perfume in trace amounts, Gwyneth could tell anyway.
