I watch in silence as this terrifying moment plays off in front of me. I have never in my Vampire years encountered such a thing. Today, we're ticking off summer to do list number one - adrenaline pumping activity. The activity we agreed on is very dangerous, that is why we picked today. It's still early in the morning. My dad is at his law firm. My mum is at the hospital where she works as a nurse. Isabella is at daycare. There's no housekeeper coming around by this time. So they is practically nobody to lecture us on the danger of base jumping. Not that we need it though, we already know how dangerous it is. We're looking forward to breaking a few limbs.

The more time that passes, the worse it will get. Things are going to get out of control. It's kind of funny seeing a guy as confident and powerful and dangerous-looking stuttering like a 5 year old, but the situation is stopling me from laughing. He sits there and he doesn't say, or do anything, just sits there for a few long moments; I'm not even sure if he's breathing. And then, all of a sudden, he stands up, pushing the chair bacwards so hard that it falls over, and covers his face with his palms. You're pregnant with who?" he roars out and I want to sink into the ground because everybody's eyes are on us.
