Lili Cooper was only 16 years old when she decided to run away from home, now 8 years later she is a broke student who is working as a waitress at a diner that doesn't pay very well and continues to wonder when her life will get better. One day, her co worker calls in sick which causes Lili to take up her shift. A shift in which she meets a handsome stranger but as the night continues, she soon realizes that this stranger is very well known by everyone in the neighborhood.

I was three months pregnant when my fiancé left me to marry his first love, Isabella Thompson. Soon after, I was in a car accident. I survived, but our baby didn't. There was a very real possibility that I would never be able to find Ava which meant I would never be able to see my son. Harper had done that. All because she wanted the power and prestige that came with being my mate. “Let her go, Daniel!” My father’s voice echoed past me and I whipped around to glare at him. I could see it in his eyes. He was the one who put Harper up to this. I needed to find Ava. I needed to bring her and my son home.

Hari di mana Arga menyatakan cinta, saat itu lah terungkap kebenaran tentang papa Daniel yang ternyata sudah bersekongkol dengan papa Rajendra tentang Arga dan Elissa. Mereka memang sengaja lakukan rencana itu untuk menyatukan kedua anaknya dan mengubah sikap dan kepribadian masing-masing agar menjadi lebih baik. Beberapa bulan kemudian, masalah baru datang di antara mereka berdua. Frans datang untuk Elissa. Tidak hanya Frans, bahkan Gea sang mantan kekasih Arga juga ikut hadir dan menginginkan Arga untuk kembali kepadanya. Timbullah perpecahan dan keretakan dalam rumah tangga mereka.
