I bit my lip hard enough to taste blood. The door creaked, and Phantom strolled in with his trademark calm, though tonight he wasn’t wearing his pristine white suit. Instead, black clung to his frame, sharp as a blade. His smile was venomous. “Well, well,” Phantom drawled, circling Damon like a predator. “How the mighty have fallen. You’re not looking so sharp, Damon.” Damon lifted his head, spitting blood onto the floor. “Go to hell.” Phantom chuckled. “Oh, we’re already there.” His voice dropped, sharp with menace. “Where’s the flash drive?”

Maddie gasped softly, her eyes widening as the bond confirmed itself. Dana stood nearby, watching it all unfold with a warm blush on her face, happy for her friend as the world around them seemed to fade into just the two fated pairs finally finding each other. Maddie turned back to Dana, still smiling, clearly trying to calm her racing heart but failing terribly. "I'm Dana, Maddie’s best friend." Dana said, smiling at them both. It was mostly a bunch of speculative nonsense about him brutally rejecting Wendy at the door, but as I scrolled further, my eyes locked onto a second attached image. It was a blurry, candid shot taken near the upstairs hallway. It was dark, but there was a distinct silhouette of a guy—

His eyes lit up and his figure was finally revealed. Nadia could feel her stomach turn in knots and her heart flutter. The feeling from before came flooding back but she wanted nothing to do with it. Stop it. She thought to herself. The figure stood a measurable distance from her, fidgeting in a way that would seem he was feeling just as uncomfortable as she was. “Who are you?” Nadia finally asked. As reluctant as he was, he answered. “Damon.” He breathed, searching for her response. She didn’t say anything, instead, she eyes the doorway then the windows. This vampire had her hostage.

The location was so easy to locate. “Here we are.” Maddie is thrilled by excitement; she throws her hands in the air, yelling like a kid.I laughed at her childishness. The place was buzzing with people, some in twos drinking; sweaty bodies were at the dance floor dancing to the sound of music. I first saw Jamie at the far end, playing some poker. Maddie saw him and blushed as usual. “Do you think he will talk to me? ” “He's supposed to find you, not you going to talk to him.”

Madelaine asked, leaning into me. “If she needs to protect me, she would definitely bite.” “Wow. I placed her over Daphne, untied her, and then got behind Maddy. I made sure Winter was right behind us and then we took off, back home. “Hold the reins, tight,” I leaned in and whispered to Madelaine.

During the last class, Madelyn left and went to the visitation room of the police station at 4:30 in the afternoon. Danny, who had his head shaved, was dressed in prison uniform and sat in the detention room. There was only a thin layer of glass between them. His eyes were lifeless and sunken. Madelyn had come alone secretly without Zach's knowledge. No one knew about it. She picked up the microphone hanging on the wall and pressed it against her ear. Danny did the same, but his gaze never met hers.

Maddy's brow creased, but she nodded. “Call me Damian.” I said as Maddy turned to leave. “We look forward to working with you, Damian.” She smiled before disappearing. “Missing your little fuck already?” She shook her head. “That’s sad.” Sipping her drink, she drummed her fingers against the glass. “The mighty Damian Russo has been reduced to chasing a little girl.” She added, clicking her teeth. “That little girl happens to have a hold on me. One you’d never relate to.”
