Dead Weight

Dead Weight

The memory answers before she can stop it. Her back against the concrete pillar. The dead closing in. One hand pressed to her bleeding arm. The bag gone. Dex gone. No rescue. No miracle. Just her, laughing once because of course this was how it ended, because if she had known betrayal came with this much paperwork she would have asked for a receipt. She had still tried to get up. Even then. Especially then. “That’s a flattering way to say I died stubborn.” It was a statistically significant death. A laugh escapes her before she can catch it. Small. Ugly. Almost nothing.

The Lycan's Curse - His Hybrid Mate

The Lycan's Curse - His Hybrid Mate

Ryel POV: The scent of the burning ash fills the air, thick and cloying. I exhale softly, the wind tugging at the edges of my cloak as I step away from the last corpse, lips still tinged with the final syllables of prayer I no longer believe in. I breathe in the ash-laced air again, this time, letting it settle in my lungs like an offering. Death has always been a better prophet than life. And today, it sings in silence.

Darkness

Darkness

I was nothing. The deep pit of depression pulled at me throughout the hours as I lay on the cold hard ground. I couldn't pull myself up. I couldn't go on. I had killed Mila and now I had killed Remi. I let Kezia and Matei die. No matter what I did, I was never good enough to save the people I loved. I'd even killed my own mother. What was wrong with me? I was living ball of bad luck. Bad Karma. I raised my head. Had Karma done this to me? Was that the reason? I slowly pushed into a sitting position.

The Death of Love

The Death of Love

This explains why she would take her own life. "Lake Frostice is thousands of feet deep, and it even drains to the ocean. Werewolves who jump into the lake will never survive, and it's normal not to be able to find their body. "Plus, you are Luna Amber's mate. Shouldn't you know better than us whether she's still alive and breathing?" Matthew was stunned. In despair, he choked, "Yeah, I can't feel her anymore… Why… Why am I unable to feel her… "It was because of me. It was all my fault! I didn't know that she suffered from depression, and I wronged her… That was why she jumped into the lake in hopelessness. It was all my fault!

The Crimson Curse

The Crimson Curse

Once I sat engaged and waiting I heard a martyred, extrajudicial sentencing Death - tormentor of my dreams Deep into that darkness sanctioning 'Death!' said I, 'thing of demise.' I awoke and flung the grief My passion is the parched necrosis 'Death!' chuckled I, 'Yes Death!' ~~Theodora Twitty <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Scarlett

YES SIR; Forbidden Love Of Mine

YES SIR; Forbidden Love Of Mine

CRYSTAL POV Somebody said death is peaceful. It is as still as the night, filled with nothing but darkness. They say it is a reprieve from pain, suffering, and strife that life has graciously granted us, unrequested. I was a fool to believe them. Because none of what I felt was anything close to it.

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

There-my head tilts ever so slightly, as I drown in his gaze. In between colors that have no names. Passed the beauty of his dark stare, behind the cold dark exterior- further and deeper than any ever. So deep the bottom itself seems endless until... I hold a breath. Or is it that I forget to breathe? In the total darkness— a fading soul shimmer. In its arms, cradled carefully lies a dying flame, an ember losing its last spark. In a storm of ash and rain, the soul sits trying to save what little there is to save, in the darkest night, knee deep in the muddiest waters, barely alive.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

Death Contract

Death Contract

I saw how he gulped and looked to every grim reaper inside. "We will reap the soul today." There my suspicion was confirmed. Full of worried I barely looked at the people around us. They look at me weirdly, maybe because I enunciate alone. However, this is not the right time to think about that. "Why do they all have to die? Is it because of someone's Karmic Death again? I don't think that's right!" I scolded Gavin loudly. I could hardly control my emotions. It is not just a simple soul capture that will take place in front of me because now it is the death of so many people.
