Light is just an imagination created by God to play chess with millions of pawns. People say whenever you are lost, seek the light. Light at the end of the tunnel, but I have a different approach to this. When you are lost, seek darkness. Stop at the entrance of the tunnel and drown yourself in the abyss dark and deep — silent and sweet. Light is the cause of all evil in this world. Light was the cause of all the pain in my world. Just imagine a world of pure darkness where colour doesn’t matter and faces — fake or real — remain hidden.

Prologue When I was a child, I enjoyed listening to my mother's stories. Portraying the never-ending struggle between darkness and light. I would always look forward to her stories, which would be very entertaining. She always told me darkness represents malevolence, while light represents positivity and virtue. Her belief was that the power of light was the sole means by which darkness could be defeated. The resounding message she would consistently convey in her stories is that light will perpetually prevail over the darkness.

Yet, amid those dire moments, Nine's face often appeared, like the moon illuminating a clear, starless sky.
