I went to look for Talon. I needed to find out more about what Luca had told me. I found Talon in the library room, quietly reading a book. Looking at him, you would never guess that he was capable of such evil things. "Hey." He smiled up at me, putting the book down on the table, "What brings you in here?"

He chuckled throatily. Whilst Brodie was in the bathroom, Talia was restlessly pacing her floor, not quite knowing what she should do as she waited. Going over to her bookshelf, she started scanning the titles, not really paying attention at first. Then, one of the books caught her eye. 'The Lunar Goddess and her Children.' It was meant as a bedtime story for pups and was the tale of how werewolves came into existence. The shadow wolf had said something about her being born under the Goddess herself, maybe...Talia was startled by the door to her bathroom opening and Brodie appearing. Seff was gone again, his eyes back to their usual light blue.

Clarence flies through the air and falls, rolling to a stop with a broken arm and a leg bent in the opposite way. I glare at her, circling her and Drex and displaying on my face a hate so intense I can see the color black. Seething at me, Drex shifts into his ashen wolf. The touch of his hands caused a warmth to spread through me, and I instinctively arched my back, gently biting my lip as a soft, dreamy moan escaped my throat. Talon released a loud, ragged breath and skillfully tore the fabric from my chest with his mouth.

Neah asks. "Concentrated Lycan life force. Solidified over millennia. It forms in places where Lycan blood was spilled in great quantities. During battles. Rituals. Deaths." Aldara reaches out but doesn't touch it. "This much lunar stone represents hundreds of Lycan lives." The room goes quiet. I move to the shelves. Carefully unwrap one of the cloth bundles. Inside is a book. Hand-bound. Pages made from something that isn't quite paper. The text is in the same ancient script as the door.
