Althea’s voice bounced of her ears as she faced the hellish black wide open jaws of the monster closing in on her. In a burst of adrenaline, Tala broke off part of the wooden bangka, and drove into the shark’s dead black eyes, as it bit off a huge chunk of her torso before suddenly turning and disappearing into the now bloodstained waters. Feeling like she was going insane, Tala clawed her way up to the river bank.
