“Who comes to search for a job here on a day like this? Today of all days?” My frown instantly melted away and was replaced with confusion. “What do you mean? What is happening today?” “What?” He answered in awe. “Are you new in town?” He further inquired. His question made me remember my driver again. “This is definitely Karma.” “Yes, I am. So tell me what today is.” I answered with clenched jaws. “It’s Alpha Kilhan’s birthday! The man who rules this town. Almost all the clubhouses, hotels, restaurants, and even some hospitals are owned by him. Including the one we are in as we speak.” He praised him, but I remained unfazed.

I said, smiling at him and extending my hand out to shake his hand. His eyes turn dark for a mere second, and then his lip tugs slightly into a smirk. The big scar over his left eye made him look even more mysterious, just as Ricky had told me. "Luna Dannelly. It's a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for the invitation. I apologize for my lack of communication and for not responding to your invitation. I've been so busy. I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it, but, I just couldn't miss today. David already knew who he was. David didn't know of Nathan. To him, Nathan was only the famous Mr. Clemon. And so, David politely greeted everyone. "Hello everyone, my name is David Nutifafa. I currently work as a director in my family's company, so I suppose I'm in the same industry as you all." He could recognize the three mega masters Nathan, Kyle and Samuel with a glance as he greeted everyone.

A cracking sound resounded inside my body and I felt as if a part of me was forcefully torn and taken away. My wolf howled in pain but there was nothing I could do about it. Tears flowed down my face as the pain became immeasurable, increasing with each second to the point I was unable to tolerate it. I could care less about the gazes on me. I was already used to it.

He looked familiar as well. “You must be Leah.” He smiled, as I stood to attention in front of the sofa. He outstretched his hand as I looked at him confused. “Oh, apologies, where are my manners. I am Jack Carter, Logans father.” I let out a sigh of relief and accepted his hand, shaking it. “Logan is at the office at the moment.” I explained. “I know, I actually came here to see you.” I tilted my head intrigued. “Have you seen the news?”

Diana closed her sentence by looking at Alpha Darren. Alpha Darren cleared his throat and closed the document on Diana. “Are you planning to stop working after the border problem is solved?” *“If the problem at the border is successfully resolved and there are still opportunities to work that are offered, then I will take it.” “What if there are no more job offers? What do you plan to do next?” *"I will become a counselor at a school for special children, helping them to communicate with others. Why kids? Because they are the future of Pack Kyne. I want them to have the same future as other children by fighting against their limitations.”

Daxton states. I turn toward Elder Zariah, she knows more about this topic than anyone and she nods with a damn smirk on her face. “Thank the Goddess.” We hear Dave mumble. “I have been praying to the Goddess for a long time to allow me to shift into a Wolf. I don’t have the patience for the Beta position or the control for the Gamma position.” Dave’s remark isn’t surprising to me; he never had the patience for any kind of meeting, not even with family members. He hates it when someone beats around the bush or takes too long with explanations. So yeah, the Beta position wouldn’t be the best for him.
