Leo didn't even answer, keeping his eyes closed. Digger. That was Leo's nickname. After learning how Doni and Jo's nicknames came about, Eugene didn't particularly want to know about Leo's nickname. It was obvious it would have some terrifying origin. But Big Mouth Doni took it upon himself to explain the nickname to Eugene in detail.

I hurried my step and walked in. “What did I miss?” I asked looking around. “Your naughty nip of a girl called me Santa and it’s not even December yet.” Nick said pretending to be wounded. He looked at me, then at her. “Well then, I’m off to the North Pole.” He gruffed as he let himself out. Nick was a good friend, always there when I needed him.

That’s just how much we hate each other and always ready to take advantage of each other in negative situations like this. Everyone calls me Gracie, it was originally “Grace,” but I like the “cie” part. It sounds more baddie-like. Nick calls me “Clumsy Gracie,” I don’t know if he spells it as “Clumsy” or “Clumsie.” Oh wait, he calls me Clums too. What a total jerk!
