Shantelle yelled at him. "Because-" "Shut up! What if something happens to you, huh? What if there's a trap inside those paper bags and boxes, huh?!” "Elle..." I didn't listen to them anymore and I just walked closer to a golden box and then slowly opened it. I was surprised to see a gold necklace. It is thin but very beautiful. It has a ruby pendant. Is this real? "Oh my god!" I almost let go of my grip on the necklace because of Shantelle's scream. I glared at her but she just ignored it. She was looking at the necklace in my hand.

23 DCI Burton organised six boxes delivered to my home address. They must be back at the police station by the following day. A courier will collect them just after six o'clock the next day. Inside the boxes were witness statements, timelines, phone calls and crime scene photographs relating to the eleven deaths. Closing my study door, I turn the key and take a seat before opening the first box. In the boxes stacked around my feet is evidence of eleven lives and eleven deaths. Nothing will bring these people back, and nothing can harm their feelings anymore.

As I was down to my last sip of my dark black coffee, I got up and went towards the evidence room to try and see what I could find. The room was so silent as I was the only one there. My footsteps filled the eerie silence of the the room. The hollowness of the room intensified them. I took the box that contained the ring of the murderer. I narrowed my eyes, trying to examine the ring more. The ring felt cold and a strange sense to it. I think it was due to the fact that it belonged to someone who took away so many lives. As I was looking super closely at the ring, I found a tiny writing at the bottom of the ring. I was very curious to know what that was! Maybe it could help with the investig

He reads the look she wore crossing the yard and follows her here, which means he has known some version of this was coming. “You found something,” he says. “I found several somethings. I’m going to show you one and watch your face. I’m telling you it’s a test so you can’t accuse me later of conducting one without disclosure.” The corner of his mouth does that irritating thing. “Disclosed.” She opens the notebook to the page she wants and turns it toward him. One word, boxed. ARBITER. Beneath it: DECAY. APEX. In the corner, circled:

After catching my supposedly frigid wife, Emmy Winslow, aroused by our household robot butler, I swallowed my disgust and sent the machine to a destruction facility. I never expected that decision to cost her life. On the way to chase after the robot, Emmy was involved in a horrific car accident and died at the scene. From that day on, I became notorious in our social circle as the jealous husband who drove his wife to her death. Five years passed. Night after night, I tortured myself by wondering if she would still be alive had I not been so petty over a machine. Until today, while discussing business at a private club, I passed a half-open VIP suite and heard one of Emmy's closest frie

She took a staggering step back. Ariel stared in stunned silence as well. Because the piece Cecilia had just unveiled was none other than "Into Stillness", the long-lost bottom half of Elena's two-piece series. All this time, aside from the series piece Jayson had bought overseas for tens of millions of dollars, there had been no trace whatsoever of "Into Stillness". So how did Cecilia get her hands on it? The missing half was the key to destroying Sarah once and for all. Elena had promised Halread University two paintings—the top half, "Dawnstay", and the bottom half, "Into Stillness". But only the top half was ever delivered. The other had mysteriously vanished.

A black smoke engulfed the space on the chair beside Death Note and Jackson appeared with a silver coloured Device wrapped around his head and his entire body bounded in chains. "This is him. Where is my cargo?" Death Note asked. Sarraphina snapped her fingers and a guard walked in with a black briefcase. He placed it on the table on between them and walked away. "Check it" She said. Death Note brought the briefcase closer to him and he opened it. In it was a pen. "This is fake" Death Note stated with anger after observing the pen and he broke it after. "What do you expect, you asked for the impossible." Sarraphina replied

With every bit of strength he had left in him, he kept saying the spell, even though his voice was getting weaker with each word he spoke. "Dekekrankem delenfoouud." "Please," he cried out, his sight becoming fuzzy. "Please, just let her be safe." Everything around him started to spin like a dizzying ride, and he felt his consciousness beginning to break apart. But he fought to stay focused, determined not to let go until he knew his baby daughter was out of danger. Finally, with one last push, he whispered the final part of the incantation. In a bright flash of light, the baby vanished, leaving Draven all alone in the temple. He fell to the floor, his body shaking as blood continued to flow

And here I was grabbing my stomach, trying to calm myself from the sickening feeling. ‎ ‎To my surprise, Kael let out a wholehearted laugh. "I lost again. Really, why can't you ever pretend to be triggered, I feel like a fool every time." ‎ ‎"Maybe because you are? Just saying." ‎ ‎So, getting a few facts straight, these two with the other one had something to do with the death of the VC. I didn't believe it at first but I'd heard from Sarah that there were three major organizations in the state who orchestrated devices in darkness but didn't conceal it entirely.

“Excellent. Because it’s time to announce the next game.” There was a slight shift in the room, a collective inhale, quiet but heavy. I could feel everyone’s tension pressing in from all sides, like we were all waiting for a bomb to go off. But then… something changed in its expression. Its head tilted slightly. Its glowing eyes flicked toward the corner where they had tossed the dead man’s body earlier, half-hidden behind a pile of blankets. The faintest trace of blood was still smeared across the floor. The Game Master’s smile deepened.
