THE PIRATES IN THE SUBSEA
My mother and I were raised in Hindu culture, though my father's entire family was Catholic.
We used to do yoga, meditation, and chanting every day at home. There is one thing my mother taught me. When we go to any new place, we feel uncomfortable for a while, don't we? When you get to a new room, you don't get sleep. Mummy told me that Om Namah Shivaya mantra should be recited frequently whenever there is such a place. I have already got my benefit. When I meet someone new, I chant this mantra in my head if I feel blocked from talking to them. Suddenly my mind will settle, and I will feel comfortable like at home.
