Horned, small winged creatures dancing around the gemstones like a ritual ring. I have seen these illustrations in old books, and they were the first of the Demonics from history. No one knows what they looked like or how they evolved, but some believe exaggerated drawings were made after rare glimpses or from fairy tales based on them. It seems like he gave me a reminder of who he is, and I wonder at the value and beauty of this piece. I doubt it's something he happened upon in the forest; it looks more like an intentional gift.

Each one had a short description alongside a sketched photo of the demon themself and a symbol. I’d read through each one, finally landing on Chaos. He looked different than the rest of the sketches, as if he were a last minute add to the book. The drawing of him was smeared, as if the artist rushed. His symbol was different.
