The demon, Commander Boglan, was looking around at them amused, taking in the hooded and tranced warlocks around the protective circle he was being held in. He was huge, standing nine feet tall and massive. Bare chested with a large battle axe and long horns curling up from his head he looked like he had just stepped out of a fantasy video game.

And that was sheer luck." Dante just looked amused. "Where do I find them?" Jo stifled her laughter. These royals really thought they were invincible. He holds out his hands, so I take them, trying not to think about how much larger they are compared to mine. "You should know that I find touching you abhorrent," I mutter. He was . . . different from the Sacred Four.” I cleared my suddenly dry and tight throat. “How?” Mr. Trung tipped his head. “The Four exact a price for attempting to reach the Gateway, but they are sacred, honorable, bearing your essence away to be judged accordingly. Chiao is an Abomination. It consumes your very essence, making you part of it for all eternity.”

They watch for a moment before the screams of the people around them bring them back to focus. Zaire and Farris target a Demon that is attacking a young male. They go to tackle the Demon but he just turns to smoke and changes his focus from the male he was just enjoying to the two warriors now standing in front of him. Zaire attacks first. The Demon expecting this transforms the section of his body that would have been hit by him to smoke and Zaire's claws and fists go straight through him.

When I woke up, I stretched lazily before the comments appeared in my vision again: [Whoa, talk about bloody!
