Jane shrieked and looked at the guest who had just spoken. Her eyes were full of terror, as if she had heard something horrifying. Her body trembled, and she could not help asking him again. "Who did you say Milly is?!" "The Lycan King's daughter. She left to train five years ago and only came back a few days ago. This banquet is held in conjunction with her succession ceremony," the guest repeated himself before rolling his eyes at Jane. "By the Moon Goddess… You didn't even know who she was and you treated her like an orphan? This must be the joke of the century."

I just finished reading the last book when I started to write Descent for real! The title when this was still a draft was actually ‘Can’t Help Falling (In Love With You)’ because I was listening to the same song only the dark version at the time. But I got annoyed because I felt it was too freaking long to be a title. For a time, I settled calling the story "Fall from Grace" in my head but it still felt wrong... so when I searched for a synonym, the meaning of the word descent.. clicked; it feels like it perfectly sums up the entire plot.
