Montevista knew that her son will be hesitant but she still insisted. "I've been so long for so long and you heard nothing from me. It's only now that I am requesting you for my companion at home. I can feel it in my heart that they need us. I knew that she is a good person and I want to help them. Please son," she pleaded her son. How can Nathaniel resists his pleading mother."Okay Mom, but allow me to do an investigation if what she told us before were true," he said while kissing his mother's forehead.

I whisper, leaning into the elf beside me and getting a chocked chuckle from her. “Will this pup call me Grandmother?” I look to see the tears falling from her eyes and smile, looking down to see Destiny watching us. “Of course, you earned that title.” I return to those thoughts about if I will be good mother or not to Destiny and smile. Because of Lizaria, I know I will be a good mom. That Destiny and any future pups will always have a place to call home and a family. “Ladies, if we were having a party in the nursery, why wasn’t I invited?” I smile as my mother walks in, coming to stand on my other side as she pulls me in to her arms, hugging me tight.

Destiny spoke with calm strength, her smile gentle but commanding. Across the realm, heads bowed low, hands pressed to hearts. And in perfect unison, they said what had been spoken for centuries: “We honor you, Great Spear!” Destiny closed her eyes for one brief moment. The words still struck her core, like a tide washing over old wounds. “I am coming to you today not only as your Queen... but as your mother.” She placed her palm over her heart. “The one who bled to give you breath. The one who screamed so that you would never have to. The one who carried nations in her womb and buried sons before their time.”

There is a knock on the door and Victor answers it. “I thought they should have one more reunion,” Kesly brings Mom in. “Mom?” I ask. “I messaged Atlas to mark her as she gets off the plane. He will have her marked and bedded before Evander can arrive. We may not live, but we will get our revenge on the Nightingales,” Mom looks smug. Mom has resigned herself to die. “No wait, I can’t die, I’m 20 years old,” I say shocked. “I was only doing what she told me to do. Kill her, I have a life to live. I’m a Luna.”

Damien's mother, Destiny, ran to us clapping her hands together then engulfed us both in a hug. She was a 6ft gorgeously strong women with dark skin, black silky hair, and gorgeous brown eyes. A powerful Luna and is why our former Alpha wanted her by his side. "Shhh mom. We have to be careful for a little longer." Damien said. "I'm not spending more than 24 hours mourning that bastard of a Alpha. Our family is finally free." I said, squeezing Destiny tighter in a hug. I know how much she suffered under his wrath.

“I still have to tell you though and I’d rather you hear from me than someone else.” “Only if you’re sure.” She said, looking into his brown eyes with concern. “You need to know.” Dex said, pulling her to the bed. He sat down with his back against the headboard and pulled her to sit between his legs with her back against his chest. He didn’t know if he could tell her what he had been through if she looked at him. He didn’t want her to pity him. Dex took a deep breath and sighed. “My mom, like many people, was a teen mom. She got pregnant with Destiny when she was sixteen. Her and my dad stayed together despite the challenges that came with being a teen parent.” Dex began softly.

Their touches were too intimate. "Mom?" Looking at her mother, Destiny said. "You lied to me. He isn't my father. Is he, Mom?"

Who else would she be talking to? I was leaving. I wouldn’t see her anymore. “Hey, hey…come here, honey.” Mom said, pulling me in for a hug. “This is it, Mom. I got what I wanted, but…but–” “It’s not the end. I told you once and I’ll tell you again like I told her this past Saturday, when someone is meant to be with someone, you will find each other again. It doesn’t matter when or where. If she belongs to you, and she does, she will find you or you will find her soon. One way or the other, you two will be together if that is what destiny wants.”
