The Bedevilled Soul

The Bedevilled Soul

I was feeling empty for a while, then I let sunshine and birdsong begin to fill my tank. "Get Amelia. Now!" I felt like a ghost in a world of paper dolls. "Yes your majesty." The nearest guard next to me, ran as quickly as he could, like the devil wss behibd him. Hmmm. How ironic was that. I was the devil—rather, i am the devil. I am the ghost in my own machine. I am a ghost running through time and space, looking, always looking in

Blood on the Asphalt biker

Blood on the Asphalt biker

It was crisp, synthesized, and terrifyingly calm. "To the anomaly designated 'Ghost', and the combatant designated 'Daximus Steele'," the voice echoed from my deck's small speakers. It was a voice that hadn't spoken in a century, yet it carried the absolute weight of a god who had just changed the rules of the game. "I am Founder Silas. You have proven to be an exceedingly persistent variable." Dax’s jaw tightened. He slowly pushed himself up from the mud, resting his hand on the hilt of his Phase-Knife.

The Devil's Plaything

The Devil's Plaything

“I know. But this man? His records are sealed tighter than federal vaults. No legal trail. No family photos. No social media. The name Lucian Devlin exists, but the man? He doesn’t want to be found.” I stood, walking over to the bar. I poured two glasses of whiskey. Passed one to Raphael. “I’m not giving her up,” I said softly. “Not to a ghost. Not to a devil.” Raphael raised an eyebrow. “What are you suggesting?” I turned toward the window, looking out over the skyline. “I’m suggesting we stop knocking on locked doors and go to the man who makes the keys.” He pulled out his phone. --- Derek Ashcroft. Hacker. Codebreaker. Ghost-chaser. I hadn’t spoken to him in three years — not since a scan

My Ghost Soulmate

My Ghost Soulmate

"Ehm, I'm about to uhm, you know, take a bath and stuff. Being a descent uhh ghost *clears throat*..." His blue eyes were focused on her and nothing else, revealing no emotion or thought whatsoever and his mouth remained mute. Is he still mad at me? In the end, that bath was the shortest one of her life. Geneva came out once again but now with a face deeply highlighted to look like an ebony queen and nails polished nude. She was covered from head to toe in her white lolita wedding gown. A wide hat sat atop her head as a veil covered her face. Her feet were in heels, her fingers in gloves, no skin was left available to the ghost!

The Pacific-Capital: A Cyberpunk Story

The Pacific-Capital: A Cyberpunk Story

She hoped that her dazed out self wouldn’t be asked any important questions. The sudden creak of mechanized joints echoed on the wooden floor as the tell tale patter of leather boots and the clink of guns signaled the entrance of their host. Sol knew the man only from newsreels and a few underground magazines. This kind of clientele rarely ever needed their services after all. But here she was in front of the Archon Devantis. Boss of Bosses of the Bolo’s. Devantis was an old man, probably in his 70’s. He didn’t bother to hide his age with some gene mod make up like the rest of the population, he bared it all. Wrinkles, scars, gray hair, bald spots, the works.

My Model (BL)

My Model (BL)

“Naelle—” She turned, her voice breaking. “I need to know if I still love a ghost.” Silence. Then Devin said quietly, “I need to tell you something.” She looked up. Devin’s eyes held something raw. Something real. “I was at the facility. Not as a subject. As a soldier.” Naelle’s heart stopped. “I was there the night it burned,” he continued. “I saw the kids escape. I saw you.” Her voice cracked. “Why didn’t you say anything?”

The Lycan Kingpin's Captive: A Baby For The Beast

The Lycan Kingpin's Captive: A Baby For The Beast

We park the SUV in the woods and walk the rest of the way; me plus five of my most trusted Gammas at my side - my sensory division simply known as Pente. /“Ghost, circle the perimeter and let us know the location and position of every wolf around Popov’s border,”/ I instruct my Scouting Gamma. He nods and his blue eyes flash pure white as he says, /“Yes, Alpha,”/ before taking off and running silently. The reason I gave Ghost the position of Scout is that he’s my fastest Gamma and has infiltrated various packs, allowing us to enter safely. His real name is Divan but he's known as Ghost, the same name as his beast. But just like Ghost, all my Gammas have codenames.

All of these little stories were absolutely amazing! I know you’re taking a break for a while, author, but when you come back will you do Eden’s story, or no? As always, thank you for another amazing story (or in this case stories) to read. You really are an amazing artist, one of my favorites!

This book was amazing. All the short stories attached to it was beautiful. So many emotions. It made me laugh, cry, frustrated and so much more. This author is truly an amazing writer. If you are thinking about this book or any by this author, don’t think just read it. You won’t be disappointed

The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion

The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion

One of the dead is Wanda and my heart hurts knowing I’ll never speak with her again. When we get to the bunker’s entrance area, Devin is laying on the ground holding his stomach. Most of the rogues are dead but one is advancing on him, meaning to take him out. I tackle the rogue from behind and we roll until we hit a wall. I snap his neck cleanly then hustle back to Devin. There’s blood everywhere, most of it is his and he’s coughing it up too. I can tell his torso is ripped open, his arms holding in his insides, and his wolf isn’t healing him anymore. “Call Nolan, Josh. We need him now!”
