I vigorously dried my hair with a clean towel, reminding myself for the 100th time that I needed a hair trim. I was passing a brush through my damp hair when I walked out of the bathroom, "Hey, I wanna get a trim. How short do you think I should make it?" Dean's eyes were fixed on his laptop screen. "I was thinking a little above bra length but I also want to try something different like shoulder length curls. Maybe I'd dye my roots really dark and-" I stopped speaking when I noticed that his eyes were still glued to his laptop screen, a grim look on his face.

The moment the caution tape fluttered to the ground, Sean and Mason were at my back.
