His moss green eyes and honey blonde hair, coupled with his perfectly symmetrical face, gives him the appearance of a beautiful devil. He isn't as muscled as Mason and Damon, but his lean frame looks sexy as hell in leather boots, a stylish trench coat, pristine white shirt and dark slacks.

“These are our extended kin. They’ve traveled from the outer territories and will be staying with us for a while.” He went through the names, one by one. I nodded to each of them, trying to remember the faces. Then, he pointed to a man sitting a few seats down from him. “And this is Devon Caravia, Eilís’s cousin.” Devon stood up. He didn't have that cold, predatory look that most of the wolves in this castle carried. He looked younger, with a face that actually seemed capable of a smile. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Lady Raven,” Devon said. His voice was warm and sounded completely genuine.

“Tell me, Sorah. Was it the red-haired I told you about? Where did you see them?” I zone out for a moment, numbly staring at the scowl on Devon’s face. For sure I can see his stench disdain towards Vampires in general, and towards Andreas in particular. It’s a passion, an obsessive hatred he harbors towards that lone Vampire that sets his orbs alight with black fire. “R-red long hair…crimson glowing eyes…” The words air out my stiff lips and Devon’s eyes go wide with shock before he switches into a cold chuckle. He leaves my shoulders and shares a knowing smirk with Yasha before quickly speaking to someone behind him I didn’t notice until now.

Raven snarks. Devon puts his hand over her mouth before the impending argument can start. Marcel tells Raven to behave, and he folds his arms over his chest. Devon removes his hand from her mouth and receives a glare that he ignores. Well, I guess this makes sense and explains why she knows him. Of course, that raises other questions. I decided to break the ice and ask about the rumours. “So the rumors about him, why don’t you clear a few of them up for us,” I state.

"That was awesome, girl. You should do that more. Right in my face, you keep getting better. You are making me jealous." I grinned, "better control it. You might explode with envy by the time I am done." I boasted. "Thanks for letting me know on time." She mused. We both laughed, leaning into the grassy earth to relieve ourselves. I drank the water in my bottle with relish. "Hey there, ladies," Devon called out to us. I stiffened, not turning my head to look at him. "How are you doing today, Omega Devon? Thanks for teaching us today. We learnt a lot," Raven said in her usual singsong voice. She leaned into me, picking up her bag. "My handsome hunk is calling out to me. See you later."

Did her cheekbones not ache from smiling that wide? I tried to push back every negative feeling and smiled faintly, “It’s totally fine.” It wasn't. “Great,” she squeaked, “Let me introduce myself properly. I’m Raven, an old friend of Devyn,” when she mentioned his name, she glanced at his direction, then returned her focus at me. Devyn didn’t notice as he continued to blankly stare into the distance. I had a feeling in my gut that they were just more than friends, but I chose to overlook it until I gathered more evidence.

DOOM’S POV I adjusted the collar on my shirt, black silk stretched over muscle, the sleeves rolled just enough to show the serpent tattoo that curled down my forearm. The night was dressed in silence, only the low hum of the estate’s security system breaking through. Devon said looking into my eyes while smirking. “Yes, I know you, but how? It’s impossible,” I said to Devon, feeling confused. “Are you challenging me?” Devon asked me. “No, it’s not like that, but I don’t…” I explained to Devon. He smirked again. He took the phone from the table and dialed someone. “My wife’s purse and mobile were snatched. I want that back by tomorrow, anyhow,” he said to someone on the phone in strict tone, leaving me confused.
