Instead, it churned, shadow threading through light like oil over milk. “She’s close,” she said quietly. “Closer than any of us predicted.”

THIRD PERSON'S POV:- Mira swung her sword and Sierra tightened her hold around her katana. As Marsha knew well that she was no match for Mira, she decided to keep her target towards her womb to kill the child.
