After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

Hank offered as he thwarted a vampire’s attempt to pull off his head by biting him in the hand. When the double doors of the castle flew open and a new surge of angry castle supernatural residents poured into the great room with the intent to kill, all conversation stopped. Hank pulled a whistle from around his neck and blew it long and hard. It not only summoned a new surge of zombies to flood the great hall, but it caused the vampires to stop for a brief, stunned moment.

I tell him. Flavius nods in response and begins to pack his things. I fill my satchel with various clothing items and few books. "Why are you packing books?" Flavius asks curiously. But due to the old age, the part of the leather had turned dusty, causing it to crack and peel off. Rose who was handed the book slowly opened the book that made a slight cracking noise. She stared at the old yellow pages, opening it to find that the book had not only been hand written but also had drawn. There was a vampire in the first page, drawn by hand, their figure, features, and even the maliciousness was exactly the same as what she had seen before. It made her curious of the other beings drawn there, finding skeletons that could move and act on their own, animals that were dead but would fight upon a magic casted by the sorcerer.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all.
