The Luna's Vampire Prince

The Luna's Vampire Prince

“It’s the best part of my job, finding people I can help.” “That’s a nice job. Maybe I’ll do that when I’m well,” I decide. The doctor hurries back with his machine. I eye it distrustingly. “Don’t worry. You won’t feel a thing. It just takes pictures of your insides,” the doctor says. Still wary, I close my eyes. I hear some loud clicking, but that’s all. “Damn,” the doctor whispers. “Mr. Roach, you’ve got bone floating around in your brain. We’ll need to get it out before it does any more damage. I suspect it’s why your memory isn’t working and your body isn’t healing–brain damage.”

Love this book! Ainslee is amazing character, she is fiesty, has a fiery temper and such a beautiful heart. Rafe is very noble, has a fighting spirit and knows what he wants! The story is fascinating, strong character growth and wonderful storytelling! I can't wait for more updates.

Awesome underrated book. Totally glad I gave it a shot. Ainslee is a spitfire despite how grim things were. Great plotline with lots of heat, twists and drama to keep me invested. Some typo errors but has good grammer so understandable. Would be interesting to have baby drake’s story

Chasing Broken Destinies

"Yes, I think I want to.." My heart is shocked to its senses, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. I want to know what we are looking for and living forward to." So we watch as Doctor moves that weird-looking probe doppler thingy a few strokes, and he smiles at both of us, "It is two boys."

Passionately Devoted to Loving You

Passionately Devoted to Loving You

He rose and gestured for the doctor to follow him out of the bedroom. “Is there any way to make her forget what had happened in the past year?” Samson lowered his gaze and asked. His voice was icy, and his words were laced with threat. The doctor trembled violently, and he did not dare to say that there was no way of doing so. “The human brain is an extremely intricate organ, and aside from those with Alzheimer’s disease, no one could forget specific memories. But you, too, definitely know that it’s impossible to replicate the effects of that disease. This might bring about irreversible harm.”

Ex-Hockey Star Regret

Ex-Hockey Star Regret

Brad opened his mouth to protest but Doctor Ken held up a hand. "I know you're feeling better. I know you want to get back to normal. But your brain just went through a major event. It needs time to stabilize. You just have to think of it like a muscle that has been injured. You wouldn't go running a marathon right after tearing your hamstring, would you?" Brad closed his mouth and nodded reluctantly. "Second, watch for any unusual symptoms. Severe headaches, dizziness, nausea, confusion, or any memory gaps. If any of those happen, you come straight back here. Don't wait and don't ignore it either."

she gestured. "Is it that interesting?" asked Mr. Bruce, looking at the doctor reading his diagnosis. "How about reading Shakespeare instead of that?" "It's not a time for such jokes, Bruce," spoke Dr. Ian. "You have cerebral aneurysm." "I see. I wish I could pronounce it," jested Mr. Bruce. "Its size has literally expanded to double since I last saw it." "Oops! that's what she said." Oriel removed her hand from Bonnie's mouth and she covered her ears with them. "Has this man lost his mind?" she thought to herself.

If Loving You Is Wrong

If Loving You Is Wrong

Tick-tock - tick-tock -" The sound of water dripping into the ears, the dormant brain gradually awakened, Alex Brown frowned and turned his head to look at the source of the noise. His whole body was a little numb, he tried to move his fingers, finally felt the power filling his body, and was about to sit up, when a cry of alarm sounded not far away. "Don't move!" Eric Chan bounced up from the sofa, rushed over, with an uncontrollable excitement on his face, but did not forget to remind: "wound, you have a knife wound in the abdomen!" Still a step too late, Alex Brown got up and froze midway, then fell back to the hospital bed with a painful face. Eric Chan rushed to find a doctor, after a b

Sending a silent prayer to God Kyara walked to the doctor's cabin rubbing her arms with her palms. "Hello Ms Kyara Knights." The young doctor greeted her. He put the x-ray of the brain on a screen and switched on the light. Taking a pen he pointed out a portion which had a lighter shade from the other part of the skull. "Kyara your brother has now entered the stage two of brain tumour. The medicines we give him are only superficial which reduce his headache. The more you delay the treatment, the greater is the damage and depleting chances of his survival...."

In The Arms of Morpheus

In The Arms of Morpheus

We turned and walked back to the station where Doc waited for me, giving me the task of organizing the supply cupboards and taking stock of everything that was in them. The morning flew by faster than I could have imagined. Doc taught me how to change the patients’ bandages and tasked me with feeding some of the patients whose coordination had been damaged by their brain injuries. He said that most of them would require special therapy to help them use their limbs and talk properly again; I couldn’t imagine what that might be like. By the time it was lunch my mind was in turmoil. I had asked Doc about each and every one of his surgery patients until he eventually gave up and asked the patien
