“I have invited a doctor who specializes in surgery to remove brain tumors. Do you want to do it right away?” Anthony looked up at Clitus and without hesitation said, “Okay. Do it immediately.”

I slept at the hospital and when it was morning, the doctors came into the hospital ward with the results. The door creaked open behind us, and we turned to see the doctor stepping back in, his expression grim, “Sorry to interrupt.” He said gently, “But we need to talk. The test results from Rhea’s second brain scan just came in and there’s something we didn’t account for.” Rhea stiffened. I stood up instantly, my protective instincts on high alert, “What is it?” The doctor sighed, “There’s a foreign neurological signature in her scans. One I’ve never seen before. It’s as though… Her brain is operating in dual frequencies. Like two versions of her are trying to coexist in the same body.”
