I turned my gaze toward him and quickly recognized him as the doctor who had been tending to Amy.
"I apologize for interrupting you," he said, his tone polite and considerate, "but Amy is out of harm, and you may visit her if you wish."
With the doctor's reassurance that Amy was in a stable condition, we rose from our seats and began to follow him down the corridor. The prospect of seeing Amy brought a sense of relief to the group, and we were eager to check on her well-being.
As we reached Amy's room, Jackson took the lead and entered directly, leaving the rest of us waiting in the doorway. His actions caught my attention, and I found it surprising, but I chose to hold my comments.
