I collected the bowl and went back to the bedroom leaving Ava appalled and confused. I met Diana sitting up on the bed with her head resting on the thighs of her folded legs. I dropped the bowl of blood on the small lamp-table beside my bed and seated on the bed beside it before tapping her lightly to wake her up but as soon as my hand touched her, she panicked and pushed me to lay on the bed where I was seated. Her eyes were vivid crimson with her fangs and claws protruding as she pounced on me and gripped my neck but she hesitated before drawing her sharp fangs closer to me.
