Does Elena And Damon Get Together Novels & Stories

Damon replied. “Are you okay with it?” I asked him. “You can do whatever you wish, Emily. You are my Luna, not my servant. I have three hundred of those.” Damon said, and with that, his steps quickened, a pace I couldn't even dream of matching. He'd put me out of the mood to see anyone. But being alone would be more disastrous, because I could think myself out of going through with the wedding, so I decided to make a go for Dathan’s room.

He didn’t answer. Because both of us knew what was true.” He would have never set me free. And then there was silence between us, heavy with things unsaid. Then Damian leaned in even farther and lowered his voice. “Elena”, he says, “he deserves to know me. My throat tightened. “And when you’re bored of playing father, what do you do?” His eyes flashed. “I do not tire of what is mine, Sete.”

Samson clicked his tongue but said nothing. “Let me just keep my fingers crossed that you will eventually join our lab,” Damian said. Elena sighted a black car that was parked by the roadside. It's obvious to her that someone was watching. She handed a glance toward Samson, and he subtly gave a nod. “I will be returning your jacket next time we see,” Elena said lightly. Damian opened the car door for her. “Elena, I really mean it. We would make a great team,” he stated.

Hang in there, babe. She typed back quickly. I love you. I needed that. Elena appeared at the doorframe, knocking lightly. “Can I come in?” “Sure. You here to say what you couldn’t earlier?” Elena offered a tight smile. “I’ll try not to insult you. Both my boys are in love with you, Damon’s a wreck…” “Damon doesn’t love me. He left. Didn’t care.”

She purposely silenced her phone and ignored Elijah's attempts to get her attention, hoping he would eventually come to her house. All of her plans were already set, and Damian was well aware of them. So, when he caught the scent of Elijah from afar, Elara slowly unbuttoned his shirt one by one. "Kiss me on the neck and on my chest. He's on his way," Damian instructed, Elara's nerves evident as she obediently planted a kiss on Elijah's neck, leaving a trace of red lipstick on Damian's sun-kissed skin. "All set," Elara replied, and Damian slightly shook his head.

“Fine. Father, as far as anyone knows, she is a wolfless Omega. I don’t know why I’m going along with you two on this.” They disconnected the call, and Damien turned his smoldering gaze back on Elena. “Now, where were we…” He cupped her face in his hands and dipped in for a gentle kiss, one that she immediately deepened. “We should go,” Elena said with a gentle push against his chest. “Your father will wonder what’s keeping us.”

The night they would complete the mate bond and become truly one. She'd read about it in books. How magical and beautiful it was supposed to be. How the mate bond would snap fully into place and they would become inseparable. Elena climbed into the big bed and waited. And waited. And waited. Damien didn't come. At midnight, Elena finally got up and went looking for him. She found him in his office, working at his desk like it was any normal night. "Damien?" Elena's voice was small. "Aren't you coming to bed?"

He reached for me, his hand closing around my arm, not hard but firm enough to stop me. "Elena, wait, please." "Let go of me." "Just hear me out..." "I think the lady asked you to let go." Damien's voice cut through the air like a blade. Both Caleb and I turned to see him walking toward us. His expression was dark and dangerous in a way I'd never seen before. He must have stayed in the car, watching us. "Damien," I started but he wasn't looking at me. He was looking at Caleb, and the tension between them was instant and electric.

"I need to tell you something. It's about Isla..." Her eyes snapped toward him, sharp. "I know. You don't have to lie." He froze. "What do you mean?" "You can't pretend I didn't see the texts," she said, voice tight. "You think I'm blind?" Damian's stomach dropped. "Elena... she's my ex-fiancée. We were engaged." Her lips parted slightly. "Engaged?"

For a few precious weeks, the storm seemed to pass. Damien kept his promise, or at least appeared to. He shut Lila down firmly at work, stopped answering her late-night texts, and made more effort to reassure Elena. Their stolen moments became sweeter, more frequent. The sex grew even more intense, as if both of them were trying to drown doubt in pleasure. One rainy Friday night, Marcus was away for a work conference. Elena told her parents she was staying at a friend’s house. Instead, she drove straight to Damien’s apartment with a small overnight bag.
