She stuttered, feeling difficult to breathe normally as she shrieked away from him. Damon sighed while looking down as the lighter went off so he pressed it again and turned it on. "I'm a werewolf, Riley." He said calmly whereas on the other hand Riley was losing her mind. "P...please.. let me go." She stuttered slowly while pushing at his torso with her finger only, not wanting to touch him but he didn't move back and stood rooted between her legs. "It's not safe outside. There are more like him. I cannot let you leave." His voice came out calm but there was a hint of anger in it.

I turned to Stella--- but before I got a word in sideways, she spoke: “I don’t know what to tell you, chica,” she sighed, releasing a breath I didn’t think she was aware she’d been holding. “But I think you may be bewitched by them or something.” She turned to me, fear and confusion flickering across her beautiful face. “Whenever I touch that big guy--- Yiks! Let’s just say that he does things to my body, just shaking my hand that none of my previous boyfriends could do naked and sweaty.” Was this the point where I told her that werewolves had super-sensitive hearing and that Elijah was probably standing right outside the door, listening in on the conversation?
