I tell him and he gives me a sad pout going to touch the little creature that seemed to like him alot. "Daddy will say No." The kid says and I suddenly felt bad. "No he won't. I'll convince him." I tell the kid and he nods. I've never had a pet nor had to live with one so i don't have a problem with having one now especially a puppy as cute as this little fella. I exchanged numbers with the young man and told him I'd keep in touch before we headed back home. Just like every other school day. Dami wasn't back by the time we got home. I admit I was expecting him to be home especially after the way I left things at his office.

“Justice, I love you, but if you tell me I can’t rush fate one more time, I’m going to petition the Moon Goddess to send me a new wolf.” “You know, having a pup isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. They cry and howl. They’re messy and uncoordinated. They get cranky when they don’t get enough sleep and they need never ending attention so they don’t end up killing themselves.” “So… like me.”

Theodore cautiously petted its head, and the puppy gradually calmed down, licking his hand. Meanwhile, the kitten, lounging on the couch, woke up from the noise and cast a disdainful glance at the 'fools' before lazily falling back to sleep. Maria picked up little Lila. "Here’s our little princess. The little prince is still eating and will come out in a bit." Theodore set the puppy down and turned to hold Lila. The puppy, feeling abandoned, begrudgingly followed Theodore to the couch. The golden retriever accidentally stepped on the kitten’s tail. The kitten suddenly stood up and swatted the puppy, who promptly settled down, drawing laughter from everyone.

The kitchen worker asked, watching me fondly. “No name yet,” I admit. “I’m hoping once I get home then I can think of something.” Once I finished eating, she cleared my plate and allowed me to rest for the rest of the morning. Sleep came quickly; my pup rested in the bed beside me, also overly exhausted it seemed. As I drifted off to sleep, I could hear Donny murmuring something on the phone. “Yeah, she just wandered into my pack. Someone should come and get her. She has a baby.”

They didn't care about takeovers; they cared about the tide and the price of fish. I found a bookstore in the village. The owner, Pierre recommended books about philosophy and art. I read them all. Stephen adjusted to life easily. He spent his mornings in the garden growing tomatoes. We'd eat them on the terrace watching the sunset. "Do you miss the noise?" I asked him. "The noise was a distraction " he said. "I like the quiet. It lets you hear whats going on inside your head." I thought about that. Inside my head it was finally quiet. I was no longer Hannah Vane, the Chess Player. I was Hannah.

My best friend, the youngest daughter of the Brown family, Jessica, had just given birth, and I went to see her at the hospital with my husband, Frank James. When I held the little guy in my arms, I could not help but tease him, "Be good, baby boy. Your Godparents are here to see you." Frank, who had been standing at the side quietly, suddenly said, "I'm not his Godfather. He should call me 'father'." He was the Don of the James family and my husband, so I thought I misheard him as I looked up at him in disbelief. Frank smiled and repeated, "That's right. You didn't mishear me. This is my baby. I was with Jessica the day your father had the accident. What a night of passion that was." I w

He quickly replied, "Mr. Elkin, this is the Dalmatian puppy I recently took in. It gets anxious when I'm not around, so I had someone bring it along. I didn't think it would run over like this. I'll have my attendants take it away at once." However, Charles had only just finished speaking when he saw Tyrone crouch down and reach out to the puppy. The puppy tilted its head as it surveyed Tyrone, its dark eyes filled with curiosity. For some reason, this reminded Tyrone of Heather assessing him with her head tipped to one side. He couldn't help chuckling at the resemblance. The puppy stared at Tyrone for a beat or two before it bounded up to him. It circled Tyrone, jumping and pawing for atten

“Thank you so much for saving my Tommy! I went to my room to get his leash to go for a walk and when I came back into the kitchen he had gotten outside!” I smiled as my heart filled with warmth at the sight of the little girl. Handing her puppy over, I said softly, “It's fine, sweetie. Make sure you keep your eyes on him. He is still too young to be out on his own and could easily get hurt.” The girl nodded and then shifted her eyes over to the grumpy man that was next me, still obsessively dusting himself off. Her eyes instantly grew round with shock. “Aaaah! I-is that President Xavier Gray!?”

BELLA "Red! Don't run, Red!" I shouted into the mist. A dirty little puppy with beautiful red eyes burst out of the bushes. It barked happily, its tail wagging like a metronome on fast. It bounded toward me with pure joy. I laughed and opened my arms. I crouched down, ready to catch him and feel that familiar, fluffy warmth. But the moment he leaped onto me, the weight changed. It was heavy. Crushing.
