He Knew My Secret First

He Knew My Secret First

I slowly glanced at him, trying to decipher what he means by that, he hadn’t moved much, but his attention was fully on me now with his phone forgotten and his head tilted slightly like he was studying me with that same look I frowned “Oh yeah? Enlighten me.” He pushed himself off the counter, taking a step closer but not too close, but close enough to make me aware of it. “You think too much,” he said simply. My expression didn’t change, but something in my chest did. “What?” “You overthink everything,” he continued, voice calm, like he was stating a fact. “Little things turn into big things in your head. Makes it hard for you to relax.” I blinked, then narrowed her eyes slightly. “You don’

Please don't touch me

I'm very afraid of being the third person to interfere in someone else's love, the more afraid I'll sink too deep and not be able to continue to get up. Riffen carefully observed Doris' expression when he said such words, he could understand this, if he were Doris, he would have the same thoughts. If he had the opportunity to express himself like that, he should also clearly state his feelings so as not to cause her to be misunderstood anymore. - Doris, listen carefully, I only say this once, hopefully we won't talk about these bad things again in the future. Doris started to get scared, his attitude was very serious, she was worried that she would turn into an idiot.

Do or not

Despite their desire to be with her, they couldn’t muster the courage for a simple gesture or conversation. "I thought you guys were the type who didn’t like romance. Maybe it’s just my imagination," Leon shrugged, realizing he had misunderstood their behavior. "Shut up!" Arthur exclaimed. "Are you sure you didn’t do something weird to her when she’s sick?" "Absolutely not," Leon replied, laughing inwardly at their overprotective behavior. "Hey, why are you grinning?" Edward noticed his slight smirk. "Did you do something?" "N-nothing, I just really think you should approach her and stop overthinking," Leon suggested.

Instead, he focused on explaining the basics of skiing, keeping the conversation light and effortless. Sports were the best medicine for pain. By the time we finished skiing, my chest no longer felt so heavy. Drake drove me home. Before I got out of the car, he said, "If Chris gives you trouble again, tell me immediately." That night, I went straight to my study and took out the wedding dress sketches I once designed and old photos of Chris and me. Then, I burned them all to ash. Now, there was no longer any trace of my past with Chris.

I said. “I remember saying I don't like seeing you mad,” he said, glancing sideways at me. His words filled my heart with a different kind of warmth. “But you like making me mad,” I said, pretending not to catch the sub. “Why do you like overthinking things?” he asked, the question catching me off guard. “I don't know,” the words slipped out before I could second-guess them. “ It’s just weird to have you around.” He chuckled, softer this time, and bumped his shoulder into mine. “I’ll take that as a compliment. Life moves so fast, we don't have time to overthink. So, stop it.”

I chuckled and cuddled up to her in the couch. 'Mate smells good. Get closer.' Conri said. 'I can't. we are already close.' I said. 'When can we mark mate?' He asks impatiently. 'Whenever she is ready. Let's don't rush her.' I replied. He plopped down like a toddler having a tantrum and huffed. I smiled and shrugged at him and looked at the movie she picked for us, the texas chainsaw massacre. of course. Seeing the look on my face she frowned and asked "Is this movie too scarry?"

What We Pretended To Be

What We Pretended To Be

I notice it this time. Not the touch. The way it stays. “You do this like it’s second nature,” I say. “It is.” “That’s not unsettling at all.” “You follow without thinking.” I glance at him. “Excuse me?” “You don’t resist it,” he says simply. I open my mouth to argue. Pause. Because he’s right. I hate that he’s right. “I just don’t overthink everything,” I say. “You should.” “Why?” “Because you miss things.”

This book is intriguing. Well written. Really an eye opener for those that need to learn more about what the ancestors went through during slavery that wasn’t in the U.S. I felt for Paneshe. She was such a strong Black young lady.

hi author I really appreciate you writing such a wonderful story. I will be happy if you will write a story about the white lady who had an affair with one of the slaves in another plantation and they had a child. William mentioned it in one of the letters he wrote to Panashe

A Twist In My Marriage Deal With The CEO

Leena Mustafa i fell for my boss
Maybe it could again. With shaky fingers, I reached for my phone, the glow of the screen harsh in the dim room. I searched for the scholar’s name, scrolling until I found another of his lectures. This one’s title stared back at me: "The Prison of Overthinking—and How to Break Free." I pressed play. His voice was calm, steady, like a hand reaching into the storm inside me. "Overthinking is a thief," he said. "It steals your peace, your joy, your present moment—all for a past you cannot change or a future you cannot control."
