Noble Husband At the Door

Noble Husband At the Door

In front of the grave of Cloud City, which had been cleaned up without a single hint of weeds, they sat on the ground. Manfred first toasted the tomb woman before clinking his cup with the tomb man. With an expression of lament, he asked, "Do you know what I regret the most now?" "You didn't die with her, and now you can't bear to die. After all, if you die, then there won't be anyone to clean up her grave anymore," Samuel said. "You still understand me. My motivation to live is to tidy up the weeds here on the first and fifteenth of each month and wipe the dust off the tombstones. If I don't do these things, I won't be able to find the meaning of my life." Manfred said.

Just from the preview it’s seems like it’s the charismatic Charlie Wade. It’s only written with different characters and slightly different way. I stopped reading charismatic because it’s too long and was not seeing the light and it’s now put to 5k chapters. Who reads a book that long. Make it a mo

The book is good though the translation leaves a lot to be desired. Your only failure is this oven thing. We re spending a lot of money to read your otherwise expensive book, but then we have to wait for ages in time to get chapters added from your so called unfounded oven. I migrating to other pl

After Rebirth, I Let the Intern Dig Her Own Grave

After Rebirth, I Let the Intern Dig Her Own Grave

"You do this and I'll give you half the company. I mean it!" I looked down at him from where I stood, completely unmoved. "Oh, Jason." I gently stepped back out of his grip. "Did you forget? I'm just an outdated thinker with a fossilized mindset." "Tonight I was only here to watch and learn." "All this incredible fortune, I think you should let your golden ticket enjoy the moment."

Dangerous Liaisons: Love in the Shadows

Dangerous Liaisons: Love in the Shadows

I replied, my voice laced with a mixture of anticipation and trepidation. I couldn't help but feel many of emotions intertwining within me. It was a bittersweet mix of longing, nostalgia, and a deep sense of reverence. The thought of standing before their graves, tracing my fingers along the cold stone markers, somehow terrified me. I knew this visit would undoubtedly reopen wounds that had not yet fully healed, stirring up a whirlwind of emotions that had been carefully tucked away. Diyo, feeling the weight of my solitude, extended a comforting gesture, his eyes brimming with empathy. "Hey, you know what? If you don't feel like making this journey alone, I'd be more than happy to accompany

THE REVENGE OF THE DEAD LUNA

THE REVENGE OF THE DEAD LUNA

The Nightwisp pack remained exactly way I remember except the people I love now live in graves. “You’d hate this,” I whisper, tracing his name. “All this ceremony, all these people coming to pay their respects when they weren’t there when it mattered. I miss you Elijah. The world has gone to shit. I died too and I tried to look for you but I didn't see you.” Silence. It's always fucking silent. I swallow the lump in my throat and move to the next grave--Cece’s. My breath catches at the tiny headstone. The name carved in delicate script. The years of a beautiful life cut far too short. I kneel down to touch her.

Parents Declutter Me Right Out of Existence

Parents Declutter Me Right Out of Existence

My funeral was simple. I had no friends to mourn me, and both sets of grandparents had passed years ago. Only Ms. Stone came. I floated toward her, trying to wrap myself around her because her eyes were so swollen from crying. I wanted to make her feel better. She placed a brand-new box of 48 markers at the base of my headstone. My eyes lit up. I reached out eagerly, hoping to hug the box to my chest, but my hands passed straight through it.

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

So now you’re gonna fix my cabinets and my fence. THE PAST IS never the past, never finished nor closed, not when you’re speaking of your dead. Wounds never disappear, never really heal, and everything about Rocky is evidence of that. He walks slowly, deliberately, and he speaks the same way, as if carrying a great weight. Rocky took me to his sister’s gravesite one afternoon in February, a tidy gravestone with a sepia-toned photograph of young Renee behind glass. She’s beautiful, flashing a youthful, mischievous smile. She’ll never grow old. The flowers Rocky had laid the previous week had withered, so he set about washing the gravestone, clearing away the debris.

This is an interesting book with intriguing characters and premise. The author does well to draw the audience in and make them part of the story. The narrator feels very genuine, and I began to feel for him. Very well done.

Mhenn this story is Lit?. It keeps the reader drawn to the main character. At the first chapter I was already glued to how chuka's mistakes caused misfortunes to others. This is definitely a story y'all should read.

Stealing the Heart of Mr. Steele

Stealing the Heart of Mr. Steele

Once that job is done, we each step forward, placing a flower on top of the grave, a small memento for a life that was far too short. "They won't remember her," Clark laments as he stands from placing a single lily on the freshly tilled. "Cassie and Maddie." Taking his hand in mine, I do my best to smile. "We'll remind them," I promise. "Every single day. It will be like she is still here. We won't let her be forgotten." I am still holding his hand when the cover is removed from her tombstone. Seeing it, a fresh tear rolls down Clark's cheek as his hand reaches up to cover his mouth, stifling a moan of sadness mixed with joy.

My Forbidden Lover

My Forbidden Lover

"The one that says I should weep by your grave. Fuck, that poem melted my heart. I almost cried. I realize that...I don't know what else to say, the poem really touched me. Don't stand by my grave and weep, I'll tell that to mom and dad. I know it will be painful, but don't weep at my grave because I am not there. Sarah? Do you know the funniest part about this poem?" "I don't know, tell me what the funniest part is joker, you joke with everything. You even joke with a funeral poem? Gosh!" "Whatever, the funniest part about this poem is that we, we keep saying do t weep by my grave because I am not there. Have it crossed your mind that we won't have graves? We won't be buried so no grave for

"Damn, if only I can go here every day, I'll be the one cleaning your tombstone." "Is it really worth settling here?" I said. "I don't see sunsets the same anymore. It's vivid in my mind, the vision is palpable." "You're so unfair," I laughed in a brittle voice, holding back the tears while feeling numb at the same time. I hugged my knees as I try to seek comfort from the cold while my gaze is fixed on the tombstone. "I guess... we'll never get to watch the sunset sink again." Suddenly, I heard something lightly thump on the ground, and my heart leapt out of my chest.
