Little by little, her skin began glowing startlingly as her eyes glistened with innocence. The group of four suddenly heard a loud, screeching cry that sounded to belong to a bird — a very peculiar one. Melpomene swiftly shuddered to the rhythms of the cry and covered her body with her arms. She inquiringly stared at Liam who quickly shifted in her direction, embracing her in his arms.

“We are hosting today. Can you try not to have your head in the clouds?” “You said that you loved me, right?” he teased and my cheeks flamed again. “Childish,” I muttered, walking back to the packhouse to find Cain. I was met with panicked yelling. Donna was hunched over, her hand pressed against her chest. Farah stood beside her. “Breathe in,” Farah said and Donna sucked in a sharp breath and held it. “Out.” Donna blinked rapidly, tears pooling in her eyes. Farah tilted her head up. “If you cry now, you will ruin your makeup.”

Petal nodded and Margo seemed to relax. "Yeah, Dom. Don't act like we didn't see you cry the other day when we watched The Notebook. You bawled like a baby. We had to turn it off, Margo was afraid that you were going to make yourself sick." Petal added with a wicked grin. Dom's face dropped open in shock as the rest of us cracked up. "Goddess! I thought we were friends!" Dom yelled back as he ran at her and picked her up. "Well you thought wrong! Put me down!" she demanded from over his shoulder.

Before I could completely close my eyes, I could see a figure of a woman running towards Dimitri who is now on the ground, completely covered with wounds. “My son! What have you done to my son.” She was crying and yelling at the person behind me. Luna Frandale was Dimitri’s long lost mother. And finally my world turns black.

Doona whaled around, she flopped her arms in an attempt to hit him in the face and escape.
