I whispered, breathless. Liv licked her lips. “Or… let him walk in.” My eyes widened. “You didn’t lock” Click. The doorknob turned. Jace stepped inside. And froze. The room was dim. Just the string lights above my bed and the soft pink glow of Liv’s lava lamp. I was flushed, on the bed, legs parted slightly. Damon said with another smile. My room was light, with big windows for the sun to seep through. The curtains weren't closed now, the starry night shining in. The walls were light of colour and matched with the plants in it. It had a Mediterranean feel to it. I had chosen an extra big bed, wanting to have as much space as possible. I laughed. “That's stereotypical. Where is your coffin?” I said back at him. “Hmmm I can show you one time if you want. It's right under the room with my bat friends,” he responded. I laughed again and thought back about my intrigue.
