Chapter 21 Elena pov I signed and sank down onto the large bed that filled the space room. When I left Dracul and Gulliver to talk, I had been met by an attendant, who had shown me to a large room. At first, I had thought that it was a prison, but it was a stunning room that looked fit for royalty. Plush bedding and gold morning adorned and made themselves known. The beauty didn't escape me and I knew that this was a room meant for Dracul, as much as it was meant for me.

Exactly the kind of voice he would trust. I took the lavender candle and placed it on the bedside table. I added one careful drop of the sleeping liquid onto the top of the wax. I was so bored, I wish I could do something fun but it isn’t the same without him. I stood up and went outside. I was waking around when I saw Damon’s bedroom and decided to go in. It was masculine and gave a cool and dark aura which described Damon. It was a large room, much bigger than mine. The curtains were black and the carpet was gray. The room was painted in a darker shade of white but the bed was pure white. I had never come into his room before. I went into the bathroom and wow, it was big. Everything was glass so I had to be careful even though I knew that the glass couldn’t be too fragile.

Sometimes being a vampire really sucked. The staircase opened onto a wide gallery that looked out over the great room. There were bookshelves built into the far wall and two oversized stuffed chairs drawn up close to the rail, making a comfortable library nook. Jack carried me to the last of three doors that opened onto the gallery and into a bedroom designed on the same massive scale as everything else in the house. I expected him to drop me to the bed, but Jack managed to surprise me yet again. He eased me down to my feet right at the door of a luxurious master bathroom.

I fluttered my eyes open and bright light made it difficult for me to see. I tried to get up but the strong hands gripping me pull me back. Contrary to that dark hole, I was sweating profusely. It was only after I calm down did I fully look around me. We were in a strange exotic bedroom, my head was on Drayce thigh why he looked down at me, lost and with a worry creased brow. "You scared me," he said with a sad face. "What happened?" I asked glancing around me. "What was that thing?"

I then rushed out of the car leaving him flustered. I took out my keys to open my door. Once inside, I placed them in a bowl and headed straight upstairs. I took a quick inside my parent's room to check if they were alright. Everyone was sleeping. I then headed to the bathroom to take off my makeup and change myself into my sleepwear. I brushed my teeth and went back to my room where I was met with Damon laying comfortably on my bed reading a book. "Sure, make yourself at home," I commented.

He never gave her much of a tour, he'd just asked her to wait downstairs each time. Ashleigh walked down the hall and walked into a bedroom. It looked like a typical boy's bedroom. Blue paint coating the walls, posters of cartoons and hockey celebs covered the paint, a green chest of toys and beside it an extra large box of Lego. She went to the wardrobe and opened its doors. Inside were old clothing and at the bottom a box. She pulled out the box and sat on the floor beside it. She opened the box and saw a DVD cover.

Ah, the joys of curiosity. "You go out in a broad daylight. I thought vampires couldn't stand the sun..." "You don't think we shine in the night too... And why not think we sleep in coffins while you're at it?" I burst out laughing. "Yes, and gothic furniture with baby bats and cobwebs everywhere...
