Just before I closed my eyes, I thought I saw a big dark shadow pass over us. I opened to look around when I heard Rob say, “What the hell is that?” He slammed on the brakes and stopped the car. There right in front of us standing in the road was a huge dark blue dragon. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Am I asleep and in a nightmare all along? Because dragons are not real. But if it were a dream, why can’t I wake up? The dragon lifted his head and roared so loud it hurt my ears. Smoke was coming out of his mouth as well. A fire-breathing dragon. He bent his head low and stared at us in the car growling. Now I am going to die by a dragon. A real live dragon.

It lumbered closer to her, nudging her up from the ground with it’s large head. It’s eyes seemed to plead with her. Madchen couldn’t take her eyes off him, it had to be a boy she just knew. Instead of being terrified, she felt strangely safe and comforted. She reached a shaky hand to his nose, and the dragon bent his head allowing her to touch him. “D,Drago?” she whispered. The dragon purred as she rubbed his nose. He closed his eyes in contentment as smoke bellowed from his nostrils. Madchen watched in amazement as Drago appeared before her, in all his naked glory.Before she could move, he had her wrapped safely in his arms.
