My back collides with the soft bed and I settle down after a few bounches. I look up with dread. With straight lips and clenched teeth he was unbuttoning his shirt. His eyes were intense and cold. A shiver passes through my spine in dread. My body starts trembling at the possibilities of what he is thinking of doing. “I still haven't destroyed your dreams, love. I will destroy it bit by bit. Everyday, your dreams will be destroyed a little bit and at last...." I shake my head when I see him throwing his shirt away. “a new dream will flourish and that will be me. Your dreams will be filled with me in it."

If he ever stands in front of a mirror and hates himself the way I sometimes do. I don’t cry anymore. Not really. The tears dried up somewhere between my third rejection email and the night I couldn’t sleep because the apartment was too quiet. But I dream. And in my dreams, we’re back in that shitty walk-up apartment, burning pasta on the stove and laughing until it hurt. Those dreams are the worst kind—sweet and sharp, like a knife wrapped in silk. I wake up from them gasping, aching, and furious all over again.

He succumbed to me with a smile, raising his eyebrow significantly. “Okay, I broke down, I fucked up, I fucked up myself, more I’m bothered by these dreams if they’re at all.” “Someone wants to kill me, I don’t know why, in a couple of days “it’s not easy to digest, you know”, I was breathing hard. He drew me closer to him.

I staggered backwards and felt my knees trembled. "Who a-are you? Why are you in my dreams?" I asked, but a teeth suddenly fall from my mouth. "From that moment, I bolted upright from bed. Luckily, I didn't wake you up." "That's a pretty weird dream," Caius said as he inched back to the living room. He sat again at the sofa, still browsing his phone up and down. "Really. Does that even make sense? Ugh," I whined. "It hurts my brain more."

He didn't say a word, as if his eyes were telling me to just continue. I cleared my throat, "Because of those dreams I start to fear water so I don't have any choice but to quit the swimming team. Most of the time I dream of that same dream, but sometimes it changes into another dream-- the same entity that's beating me to death. but the feeling's still the same, pain and suffering.

No! I drop the tile and I realize the light on the box and the tiles isn’t from my flashlight it’s weird and green and there’s something squishing around behind me. I turn and scream, seeing nothing but a puckering mouth surrounded by waving, coiling things reaching for my face . . . *** I sat up with sharp cry, throwing my hands out to ward off what I’d dreamed were dozens of snake-like things slithering through the air toward me . . .

Matter of fact, sometimes I feel like I am slowly going insane when all I smell is rotting flesh and I see shredded body parts in my dreams and reality. Closing my eyes after climbing into bed and snuggling up under the covers, I can’t fall asleep immediately. Instead, I run through the days events and decide that this town is as good as any to lay low in till she strikes again. Eventually, I drift off to sleep and I don’t hear when she sneaks into my room and deposits a present for me to find in the morning.

The entire night was filled with surreal and fragmented dreams—none of them forming a coherent story. In one of the dreams, Miranda cradled a chubby, smiling baby in her arms. Behind her stood a tall, gentle man, softly encircling her waist, quietly reminding her to watch her step. But when she turned to look at him, he vanished. All that remained was an endless field of wild grass, stretching as far as her eyes could see. No trace of the man, no one to turn to.

he said gently, “what do you see in these dreams?” I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to recall the terrifying images that haunted my sleep. “It’s… it’s always dark,” I began, my voice a little shaky. “Sometimes, I’m falling. Falling into a deep, dark sea. The water is cold and heavy, and I can’t breathe. I’m drowning.” I shivered, even remembering the feeling. “And other times,” I continued, “I’m locked in a room. A small, dark room. There are no windows, no doors. Just… darkness. I can’t escape.”

He explained and I can still see the pain and fear in his eyes, what ever happened in his dream must have been really scary. "Okay, what happened?" I asked curiously because I am honestly worried about him, something is not right. "I had a very vivid nightmare, it seems like I was transforming or so." He mentioned and I understand why his eyes was yellow now, it happened as a result of the dream. "It was really painful Nate, it felt like every body in my body was breaking and restructuring, my nails were forcefully growing and it was really painful and scary, I am really scared Nate. What does it mean?" He asked while staring at me with teary eyes.
