The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

Dryad / Forest fairy The Dryad is a legendary creature from Greek mythology. According to Greek mythology, the Dryads were creatures, or a kind of fairy, who inhabited plants, taking the form of women. In Greek a similar term, drys, means oak. From this word arises the notion of the Dryads, namely the Nymphs who live in plants. The term is often used to describe Nymphs who live in trees in general. The Dryad character from Greek mythology appears in the fantasy story The Chronicles of Narnia as a female spirit that comes from trees.

The Dragons of Edon

The Dragons of Edon

“What? When, brother?” Ghaeron forced himself to share the tale of his great shame, one that he had shared with no one since the early days of life on Edon. “Shortly after Mother and Father had brought forth the first life here on Edon, I became fascinated with the complex weaving of mystical forces that had been utilized to do so. Such variety of living creatures had come into being! Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Minotaurs, and a host of lesser known beings, all benign and given great potential for growth. Growth is one of the constants of the universe, as you know. It is ingrained into the essence of Dragons.”

Destined Alpha of Change

Destined Alpha of Change

That made Neo snort as he agreed with me. “That legend was started by my ancestors to keep the truth hidden. However, I would assume that Draxthi knows the truth if he’s holed up there. There are various types of dragons. The rarest and most powerful dragons are called Mystic Dragons. They were originally created by the union of a powerful elemental dragon and a powerful witch. The group of them, or thunder, was unique because the females of the lineage took after the witches while the males were dragons with access to magic. Mystics were highly sought after and hunted to near extinction. That area was where their sanctuary. It was hidden from outsiders. However, there was a traitor who desi

Enjoyed the story a lot. I loved the series before it, and this great follow-up. I will say the only drawback was that there was a bit too much sex in this book as compared to the previous two in the series. Still very good though.

Charlotte: Fated to the White Dragon

Then a smile creeps across his face, one of those devastating, dimpled smiles that could ruin a woman’s life. “You’re Charlotte. Pretty sure you knew that.” Smug bastard. “You know exactly what I mean, Damon,” I snap at him. The smile fades slowly and darkly. He leans back, arms folding over his broad chest like a wall. “You’re Druiss.” A shiver trickles down my spine. That name again. “Okay… and what’s a Druiss?” “A Druiss is a Dreil.” I groan. “And what’s a Dreil?”

My Mythical Dragon

My Mythical Dragon

Powering on the laptop took a lot longer than I expected, and then I got to researching. Bonding- the God, Dalion, wanted to give more protection to the creatures that he created by binding two people’s souls to each other. This is an unbreakable connection to enhance the power that is given to the Mythicals. In this connection the mark changes to show what dragon was bonded to one another. If a Mythical somehow bonds with a non-Mythical, The mark evolves into a dragon that curls itself around the shadow of a human. Slamming the laptop shut, I huff out a breath and wonder what the hell I just read. Unbreakable? What does that mean? I’m stuck with this random guy for my whole life?

Lord Dhruv: The Omega fated companion.

Lord Dhruv: The Omega fated companion.

"Like fire and ice, the sun and the cold rain maintain a perpetual enmity. While in my current state, rain proves to be a formidable weakness, in my true form, it poses no threat." The more I read the enchiridion, the more curious and intrigued I was. A lot had been revised and taken out, some nonexistent, in the current enchiridion of all five kingdoms. I found myself digging for informations about Dhruv, and the more I read about him the more I feared his true appearance. In the encheridion Dhruv was described as ‘a force to reckon with. Second to none other than the moon goddess herself.’ I also found out that he had a Fae pet, one who he would send down to earth as a messenger to the chi

Eurydice, trying to make sense of it all, questioned, "What does King Dragan have to do with Alcides?" Corvus, with a contemplative gaze, responded, "That, my dear, remains a mystery. The threads of destiny are often knotted in enigma. Perhaps, in time, the veil shrouding 'Maximus' will unravel, revealing the connection between a condemned merchant and a young man named Alcides."

Iris & The Book

Iris & The Book

“Anyway my mother was a druid, druids tend to be soft looking with striking features and almost always with a purple tint to the eyes. I haven’t met any that haven’t-so far. My druid people are protectors for the Meliae people.” “Meliae people? What are those?” I ask and Rae replies “Meliae are also known as nymphs sometimes confused with fae, sprites elves etc… aren’t they people of the trees?” “You would be correct, but it’s much more complicated than that. There’s also water, stone and flowers. My people are trees. Each species of tree has one tree within that group that has a spirit. So for example the red oak will have one tree in the entire world that’s special and holds the spirit, th
