I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

She was most worried about the prime minister that he might just storm inside her chambers. "To actually see the Emery of Madness be under pressure is a thrilling sight indeed." Emery immediately unsheathed her dagger, turned behind her, and threw the weapon at the intruder who managed to enter through the window of her room. The intruder, who was wearing dark combat apparel that was of the same color as Emery's, blocked the attack with her own dagger. "Jadeite, what business did you come here for?" she asked. Jadeite took off her mask and her naturally brown hair dropped to her shoulders. Just like Emery, she was also working under the Arcana. She picked up Emery's dagger before throwing it

Sharp talons grabbed her by the shoulders, lifting her out of the boat. “AAAAAH!” she screamed. She was being lifted up and flown over the water, kicking and flailing. The compound came into view, and whatever had her descended to the ground. Madchen gently landed on the lawn, only to look up and see a huge black dragon standing over her. Warm breath puffed from it’s nostrils onto her face, and it’s green eyes bored into hers. The dragon turned it’s head toward her, it’s shiny onyx scales shimmering. It lumbered closer to her, nudging her up from the ground with it’s large head.

Outside, the world was a nightmare of obsidian water and violet fire. Kazimir stepped onto the Dorsal Hull (the top surface of the submarine). Above him, seven miles of water pressed down with enough force to turn a tank into a pancake. His boots, equipped with Electromagnetic Soles (magnets used to lock a diver to a metal surface), clanked against the titanium skin of the Sparrow. The Divergent (the corrupted, zombie-like Architect) was waiting.

If it was some other person, they wouldn’t be so lucky. ‘Diversity and versatility are my best weapons.’ And in the Dungeon—a place where monsters with varying abilities and qualities existed—Rey’s weapon was perfect. ‘As long as I keep expanding my arsenal…’ As Rey had these thoughts, he neared the massive entrance that was the Boss Room. ‘What a nice setup…’ He smirked as he observed the layout. Naturally, a bunch of Monkey Monsters were guarding the entrance and instantly reacted to his presence. “GRRRRRIIII—!”

“You are alone but you have more monster cores than some of the C-rank parties,” Joe said before handing him the bag of coins worth 3 million shekels for the B-class monster cores that he brought. After few months of exploring the dungeon, Dio finally finished roaming around the first thirty floors. He actually used the lower floors to practice his magic, senses, reflexes and dagger skills in order to improve. He also chose to stay in the safe zone instead of ascending to the surface and he used his time to observe other adventurers come up with new techniques.

Another mess in this dump almost makes it feel like home. Eyes darting at me, holding Raven feels more like I'm in my own mausoleum.

I feel like I should gloat on someone's face, so I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to do that to him. There was no one to help me sneak in this time. But, now I'm more powerful than ever. I would easily beat Alex without breaking a sweat and I can take down the guards here. They are not half as strong as the mages over there. I never knew that I could still be better than this, though. However, to not raise too much suspicion, I will not do any of that this afternoon. I will just slide in and out without anyone noticing. I diverged and went back to the dungeon where my former mentor was held. I opened my bag where I kept the crystal ball and other relics that I have stolen
